ELI5--> Most of the Northern dialects of Pashtunistan are 'Kheen', and Most of the Southern ones are 'Sheen'. The one's in the middle are hard to classify(as they appear to be more archaic and more closer to our ancestral Old Pashto language, and difficult to understand for both the 'Kheen' dudes and the 'Sheen' dudes) so 'Central'.
We marwats use "maa" instead of "zamaa"....."mo" is used by Bannuchis and Waziristanis.
The Marwat (also Kundi, DI Khan, Afghanpur) dialect is the only one in KPK which resembles the Kandahari dialect. It is based on Kandahari Pashto (which is spoken in parts of Ghazni and Paktika where apparently Marwat tribe originates from) but it has been influenced by neighbouring Wazirs, Bannuchis and in DI Khan, Saraiki.

In Afghanistan there is no Northern Pashto, I think that relates to KPK geography. The Nangarhari/Laghman/Kunar Pashto is classified as Eastern Afghan Pashto while the Wardak, North Ghazni, Kabul, Logar variety you hear on the media is the Central dialect and then the Kandahar/Zabul/Uurzgan/Helmand/Paktika is Southern Pashto. That leaves Khost and Paktia where most people speak dialects that resemble more closely those of neighbouring Waziristan and Bannu but with exceptions. All the dialects spoken by Karlanri tribes are a separate group. They are divergent from standard Pashto as they share characteristics and vocabulary not used by other dialects.

Prove that is it is original. Normally in most langauges historically, "s" becomes "h" - it does not happen the other way round.
As for sounding better, "sh" is a lot smoother than "kh". When you want somebody to be quiet, you say "shhhhhhhhhh....." if you said "khkhhhh....." you would sound like a fierce wild animal

Who are you and where are you from?
What problem do you have with Pashtuns that you are trying to cause friction here?
If you are truly Kandahari than you must be the dumbest Kandahari for pushing your regional fascism.
I don't need to explain myself to you. Nanay da dey thread lomrrey post wokata maa chishey likali di - za yaw Pashtun yam. Zma da plar nika watan Kandahar di aw za pa quam Mohamadzai yam. Nan saba za pa London ke osezhama. Os ta rata wowaya ta tsok ye bala? Da kam jay ye?
And if you Mungawalas can have regional nationalism, why can't we? Without turyali aw baturan Kandaharis there would be no Afghanistan or Pakistan.

P.S. There's no East-West Pashto. It's North-Central-South Pashto.
There may not be a West Pashto but there is an Eastern one. For example, its what they speak in Jalalabad. Kandaharis refer to it as the "munga" Pashto.

Even though not speaking pahsto at all, but mainly danish and even english, i assume my mom speaks the same kind of dialect(or whatever you call it) and probably comes from the same area as well, considered that i understood 70 % of what the man at the beginning said.
It's a very clear accent, in fact it is the standard dialect, so its quite easy to understand if you have basic knowledge of Pashto. If you can understand 70% without speaking any Pashto at all then that is really good.

A Kandahari supremacist? lol that's new. Especially when he's never even been to Afghanistan, let alone Kandahar.
What's the likelihood that this guy is just another Indic troll that picked up Pashto in Pakistan? That, or maybe he's a Pashto-speaking Hindki with delusions of grandeur.

Your pashto is very weak.
I thought so , it is mostly fakes such as you who pretend act as over proud of something that they are not.
What is mungawalas? No you can't have a mental illness just because you want it.
Kandahari are great people but they also have fair share of morons and you might be one of them.

Yes north is khe dialect but the dialect is to the east all the way to the of pukhtunkhwa.
South all the way to parts of Balocjostan is sheen dialect.
Than there is paktiawal pashto which is based in South East and North in pukhtunkhwa. Kabul and surroundings also have their dialects. A lot of other dialects are hybrid.
I never said my Pashto was good. Its probably that you are not used to the original Kandahari/Quetta Pashto.
Mungawala is people who say munga instead of muzh
I can understand Kandahari pashto quite well but yours is gibberish. I never heard any Kandahari say or mention mungawala. So obviously you are delusional and fake.
You can think what you want. But the next you talk to a Kandahar, do ask him/her what a mungawala is.
You are the one who lives in his own no existing world.
You are really delusional.
Since you are born inglistan and raised in Pakistan it is likely a phase you are going through. What's your first language? English or Urdu?
