You see? People like Aryana they even try to steal other people history and heritage just because it makes them feel better. Now she claims Tajiks are not Bactrians, only Pashtuns are Bactrians. She wants badly to relate herself to them. This seems to be a common pattern among nationalist people: wishful thinking.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostI have the same exact concerns.
One argument relayed to me is that Pashtuns just kept oral history, and being pastoralists/nomads they didn't have room for books. However, Saka were pastoral nomads as well and have records and some literature left behind.
I would say whatever evidence we do have, relationship of Pashto to Avestan, Pashtun genetics and habits and customs of Pashtuns, definitely relate them to ancient peoples of the region but to whom exactly?
Most likely NOT the Bactrians or Kushans, who as I said earlier were metrpolitan peoples. Not really pastoral nomads, albeit they may have had some nomadism. after all Bactrian Camels right?
Pashtuns are one of the few present day breeders of Bactrian camels, but Saka also used bactrian camels.
Now your main question, why they keep insisting these tenuous associations with Kushans and Bactrians, my answer is political agenda by Nationalists that claiming they were Bactrians and Kushans legitimizes their social hegemony by claiming they had ancient kingdoms.

Yes, Tajiks have some partial Bactrian ancestry, but Tajiks are mainly descendants of Mongols and Sogdians:Originally posted by Forreigner View PostExcept we are talking about settled people. The Bactrians were settled people, not nomads who wandered around. And there is no documentation of massacring/genocide/mass migration so its probably logical to think the Tajis (both Afghanistan and Tajkistan) are main descendants of Bactrians. Balkh was the capital of Bactria (Bakhtar in persian).
Pashtuns (Pakhtuns) i believe are descendended mainly from Pactyans and Arachosians. Georgraphically this would makes sense:

The geography of the area also matches up perfectly with what is now Tajikistan.

Calm down bacha baz. If you want to refute my claims, just do it. No need to bitch about it and play victim. I understand that you've gone through a lot of sexual abuse as a child, but at least keep the tantrums to a minimum.Last edited by Aryana; 08-03-2016, 08:33 AM."If a lion comes and takes your share, go get it back from the mouth of the lion"

I find uni brows kinda sexy on women though. The ancient Aryans considered uni-brows very holy and sacred, a sign of superiority, separating the nobility from the peasants.Originally posted by Golden View PostThese features and uni brows are influenced by mongols, apart from that one girl who look Russian. They indeed have distinct look.Last edited by Forreigner; 08-03-2016, 02:46 PM.

Aryans were whites, they couldn't possibly had animal (goat) like uni-brows. They make women look like tranny. This is clearly later date admixture result.Originally posted by Forreigner View PostI find uni brows kinda sexy on women though. Come on you're ridiculing a Muslim sister wearing hijab now, trolling should have limits. What's wrong with the way she looks? I'm not saying she's every man's dream, but she looks healthy and happy.Originally posted by Forreigner View Post
I can say that neither of the other pictures you posted are representative of South Asian women in general.
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

I love the caps and dress style of traditional Tajiks, it's very classy and wholesome, I think this is an acceptable way for women to dress.Originally posted by Forreigner View PostTajiks have some turkic/mongol but most of them look non mongol though (specially south tajikistan):

reminds me of one of my cousins when she was a kid, she's half Turkish

Why would you photoshop a paki flag on her cheek, she must viewed by your people as one of the top 10 treasures of panzabi's to do that. Yeah she's decent but most of us probably wouldn't give her a second look or even notice her..meanwhile you guys are stamping your authority on her and making her into a trademark.Originally posted by Golden View PostNo longer after they were forced to convert to islam and chinese ****ed them, you people are known as dirty mleechas by one and true aryanas.
