Otherwise a Kurd from turkey feels closer to Turks and Kurd from Irbil feel closer Arab from Syria or Arab from Mosul, samwaey a Iranian feels closer to Azerbaijanis&Armenians rather than to afghans or Baloch

In Afghanistan a Pashtuns will feel closer to Uzbek or hazara from same country than to some kurd

What do you guys think about a united nation of Kurdistan, Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan? It is interesting as we are a civil people with a great history, our influence may reach all the way to Levant and Anatoila, we may be able to establish a nation close to Achaemenid.

Honestly what I think would be best is of there is some kind of Central Asian partnership between all the Stan's (other than Pak) and Iran.

I would really appreciate an EU style union among all the Iranic nations. It would really help us stick together and increase our historical/cultural bond which has really been severed by the Desis and I think Arabs as well. We would all keep our official languages and identity and stuff – we would just have open borders and a united defense.

A Tajik user on here proposed something similar to this a few months ago with his Loy Ariana crap and it didnt go to well with Pashtuns here. But nah, its not going to happen, all these people have a different culture and language that alienates them from one another. The only thing that binds them together is Islam but thats about it.

You think when all the Iranian empires since 500 BC - 700 AD that ruled from Hindu river to Egypt manage it divided. It was united they could conquer the world so easy. Divided they fall like we do today.

I am not saying we all should be best buddies again but at least allies against outsiders should be a priority.

I don't understand why all of you want a pan-Iran or something similar so much. Yes, if all Iranic people were united that country would be a super-power. But at the same time Pashtuns would be oppressed by the Persians, Azeris and Tajiks. The way I see it there are two groups of Iranic people the ones who treasure leisure and culture: Azeris, Persians and Tajiks. And the ones who prefer freedom: Baluch, Pashtuns and Kurds. The way I see it in a Pan-Iran Pashtuns would be like the foot soldiers and would have no power. Also a union amongst the Iranic nations would never be possible as Iran would never gain anything out of it. I think we Pashtuns should better our relationship with the Iranic people who are like us (financially that is) that means the Kurds and Baluch. Maybe a union amongst the Kurds, Baluch and Pashtuns could be possible.
