  • The Greater Persia=Kurdistan + Iran + afghanistan + Tajikistan

What do you guys think about a united nation of Kurdistan, Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan? It is interesting as we are a civil people with a great history, our influence may reach all the way to Levant and Anatoila, we may be able to establish a nation close to Achaemenid.

You must not be reading the same history that I am, because as far as I can remember the peoples of Central Asia and Iranian Plateau have been in feudal warfare for centuries on end. Maybe try selling this idea to people who believe the Tooth Fairy is real or something.

          Facts vs BS

The idea of a single country would be ignorant. But increased cultural, academic, economic ties and forming of a coalition/union such as the Arab League, United Arab Emirates or the EU is a great idea.

Some one above commented that the different central Asian countries were in conflict. That part is false.

Why do you think the people in the area all have similar customs, traditions, language, food and customs? \

The area was ruled by the following: Achaemenids Empire, Greco-Bactrians, Parthian Empire, Sassanids Empire, some were part of the Kushan Empire. Look at the Iranian Intermezzo dynasties post-Islam: Taharid, Samanid, Saffarid, Ghurid, Ghaznavids, Kia'i Dynasties. (etc.) Tajikistan is home to Rudaki, who is called the father of modern-Persian language. Iran has is the 2nd largest trading partner of Tajikistan after China. Ahmadinejad is quoted as saying that "Tajikistan and Iran are one spirit in two bodies". Iran was the first country to extend diplomatic recognition of the newly independent Tajikistan in 1991 and the first nation to establish an embassy in Dushanbe. Look at the area Samanids ruled, that area was roughly an area known as "Airyanem Vaejah". Also look at the 18th century Afsharid Dynasty.

                if we ever accomplished Pan-Iranism,
the wahabi pashtun has to take distance from the paki pork and the wahabi arab jews.

Beside this,if the so called " pan-Iranism" becomes succsesfull. we should do our best to unite all iranic people and try to unite both in language, religion, culture etc so that the diffrences betwen us becomes ZERO. This new unique identety of the nation will give us the strenght to combat against the wahabi paki, turk and arabs.
I think all the Iranic people other then Iran who have alerady done it, need to go through the same procces as the safavid . The Safavid have granted Iran a unique political-religious identity which helped us get rid of the wahabi uzbek, ottoman, arabs filth. And today as you can witness Iran rising power while the afdirtistan are biting the dust and the tajik being nothing but a client of the Russian. The future belongs to PERSIA[/QUOTE]

I think if we ever have a "Pan-Iran" we should distance ourselves from the Insecure Ethnocentric fanatics in Iran, Afghanistan and elsewhere and unite with people who know how get along and work together productively with everyone else.

And also abandon all mythologized ideas of a Persian Empire, because it's not true especially considering Persians stole so much from Mesopotamia even the writing system of ancient Iran was Cuneiform or Aramaic. Safavid Government did more harm to Pashtuns than any Arab, Ottoman or Uzbek ever did. The Safavid and Qajars themselves were largely Turks.

The biggest problem is disunity and nationalism among all these people, so a united state is never possible among these people, despite them being very close culturally

I think Hindu India has done a much better job at uniting over 300 different groups living in one country. This is not possible with muslim states, because muslims live in a fairytale world of ethnic nationalism and even religious nationalism

Bro, are you serious. You clearly marvel at Persian culture and history and I bet you wish you were Tajik or Persian. This might be a surprise to you but Persians and Tajiks are the people who hate Pashtuns the most and are most racist towards us even more than the Punjabis. I would rather have an iranian union consisting of all iranian ethnicities bar Persians and Tajiks. All non Persian or Tajik Iranian ethnic groups have one thing in common we have pretty much all been oppressed or exploited by the Persians at some point. Basically a union between the following peoples would be possible: Azeris, Balochs, Kurds, Gilaks, Lurs, Mazanderanis, Ossetians, Pashtuns, Pamiris, Talysh people, Wakhis and Yaghnobis.

Only thing in common is a linguictic group

Otherwise a Kurd from turkey feels closer to Turks and Kurd from Irbil feel closer Arab from Syria or Arab from Mosul, samwaey a Iranian feels closer to Azerbaijanis&Armenians rather than to afghans or Baloch

In Afghanistan a Pashtuns will feel closer to Uzbek or hazara from same country than to some kurd

Knowing quite a few Kurds in real life, both from Iraq and from Turkey, that you have no idea what you're talking about

same with Pashtuns feeling closer to Uzbeks or Hazaras in Afghanistan. Stick to what you know not projecting some paradigm you were fed in Pakistan

A Tajik user on here proposed something similar to this a few months ago with his Loy Ariana crap and it didnt go to well with Pashtuns here. But nah, its not going to happen, all these people have a different culture and language that alienates them from one another. The only thing that binds them together is Islam but thats about it.

                              So no thank you.
