I am in touch with pashtun writers and historains.
I am not a low life dum like you.I am 102% SURE YOU ARE NOT PASHTUN AT ALL.
I respect and love my mother land afghanistan.Pakistan was created on our land and inshallah we will break the teeth of pro punjabi sold out bootlickers like you.

You have no facts, just empty personal opinions from which you make baseless assumptions like a 5 year old child does. Because your brain is that of a child the swat members here are ignoring you even the admins which are from swat pay no attention or even reply to your BS attacks, open a thread up about swat with some facts instead of spewing imaginary stories that your father tells you at bedtime or 'stories from your travels' lol what an idiot.

you have hatred for the people of Swat to an extents that you will send random PM's swearing at random peoples family's? what happened? did your wife or mother run away with some swateh dude or something? and now your incredibly resentful and angry of people from that province? LOL someone that travels to places and sits with intellectuals and historians have sound knowledge and manners, clearly from the way you speak you have no education or pakhtun upbringing to be conversing with any of these types, you haven't travelled anywhere you liar, travel to swabi and tell me if urdu is not the language on your sign boards and posters, swabi is more pakified than a lollywood movie. You havnt been anyware the only places you've traveled is from some dump in swabi to the back of a fruit container being shipped to the west.

Spain was wrong. Not only in my opinion, his translation is at least debatable. Although it still exist in popular opinion.
The distance to what is written in books is always welcome.

            Yasmina,
I talked to some linguists and they all agree with you. While they could not give me a satisfactory answer of why we don't use the term, they said they are certain it is a pashto suffix as you say, so you are right.

He is not calling it holy in that sense, the emphasize is on its importance more than just a langauge. Pashto is langauge as well as code, our heritage, our history.... I pity those who abonden pakhto for urdu and farsi, i have seen upper class families who were denying their childs their mother tongue and were shoving english and urdu down into their throats, only be-pakhto parents would do such thing.... And treasuring and loving pashto shouldnt be toned down, its good thing. pride is same like self-confidence, what exactly is a person without self-confidence?.......

That's because learning Urdu and Farsi can get a person a job, Pakhto on the other hand holds no educational value, in our lands Jobs are sometimes the difference between life and death.

maybe if you weren't so prejudice against other people and their languages, pashto's case wouldn't be so pathetic everywhere. if you are in a place where people don't understand your language, what good does only speaking that language to the greatest extent does for you??
learning another language is building an asset. it does get you jobs and one should not be ashamed of getting jobs by using their assets. descriminating against their own language or neglecting it's importance is what one ought to be ashamed of. you don't descriminate against your own language when you accept a job that gives you the oppurtunity to communicate with others through their language. you do descriminate against your language and your people by representing them as unskilled, untalented, arrogant morons who limit themselves due to their own complexes by refusing to learn other languages because they consider themselves too good for others..

@gadoonwal A brotherly advice...please get rid of regional and tribal bias, its of no use. If you are advocating pashtun unity then attacking some one tribe, their women and their pashto should be the last thing you are supposed to do.....highlighting a social issue and having debate over it with good intention is one thing but giving peghor on it leads to poisonous unhealthy verbal fights....in real life it leads to lot worse than that...our fangs should be bared for enemies of pakhtuns.

Urdu itself has no educational value in Pakistan, you dont get jobs on your urdu skills....its english which is langauge of prestige and social status in pakistan, fruit of colonial influences. You dont discard your mother langauge and denying it to your kids when you learn langauges like english and urdu in schools....i dont understand the complexes of those few burger families who are pashto speakers but do the cruelty of denying their childern the mother tongue, a beautiful langauge like pashto.....

This isn't about what one should be like or not anyway its just a fact of the situation, Urdu is the national language and all ethnicities of the country use it to communicate and do business amongst one another.
