Salam to Muslims here and hello to others! I am Bosnian Muslim and I want to let you know that in my country Bosnia and Herzegovina there is the hugest authentic European haplogroup percentage (I haplogroup) that originates from ancient Ilyrian tribes. Slavic tribes later brought R1a which is not higher than 15% in Bosnia while I is more than 70% in some areas.
On the other hand Serbs and Croats have a bit higher percentage of R haplogroup but not significantly high.
Conclusion: Bosnians are not mixture of Serbs and Croats but the most authentic European nation with the highest percentage of authentic European haplogroup I! If you want the proof just let me know or google a bit and you will find out that i am right. Anyway I recomed you to consult this link GENETICS OF BOSNIAKS - YouTube

on harrapa project, unfortunately there is only 1 serbian and no bosnian or croat.

      serbian's person genetic breakdown is:

      8% west asian
      23% Caucasian
      42% Northern European
      22% Southern European
      5% other

Three Afghan pashtuns over there have a break down like this:

      19% South indian
      34% West Asian
      19% Caucasian
      11% Northern European
      8% East asian
      4% South west asian (arabian)
      3% Southern European

^ one thing is, only one afghan over there has high east asian, i think almost 20%, the other two hardly have any east asian in them, so it is dragging the percentage up. This is the problem with small samples

That's what they wish, go to Serbia and try telling them you're brothers with them, they will be really embarrassed.

I can't buy into the fact that afghan Pashtuns have such a high component of south Indian dna when majority of them look nothing like them. Does anybody know who these test were conducted by? I know most Indians love to claim Pashtuns most of the time.

^ I think the south indian is just a term, it doesn't mean present day south indian people. It means ancestral population native to south asia, before the arrivals of West Eurasians in the region.

I think only 3 samples dont say much, but generally this component would be in the 10-20% range in the Afghanistan, because it is very old, even Eastern Iran has it around 5-10%

what pashtun wishes they were related to some bottom feeding eastern euros? (the non muslim ones, at least)
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

yes, the first arrivals to south asia region were from africa, this happened some 60-80 thousand years ago, the west Eurasians only started coming towards south asia region some 10,000 years ago, aryans were just one of the many west eurasian people that came, by west eurasian I am also including Middle Eastern. the 19% south indian that you see is actually the left over component of the oldest population in the region.

So basically the first people of Afghanistan and the ME were some south Asian group? lol don't know how the true that is. I know Aryans came into central asia around the 23 century BC.

                            I still don't buy the 19% thing.

why is it surprising? afghanistan is right beside south asia, also indus valley civilization extended to afghanistan. It's not like afghans will have 0% south asian in them, that is impossible. But 19% is just for those three samples, the real percentage of over all population could be lower. I didn't say Middle east

Afghanistan isn't right beside South Asia, it's IN South Asia.
