^ from what i have seen they defiantly do not have (Arab) saudi, yemeni etc... ancestory. But bare in mind not all tribes have been tested, but I am assuming most tribes wont show any relation to Arabia.

Now we do have to know what dna did ancient Israelite carry, If they were from the Levant region, They would have certian amounts west eurasian in them since Levant is northern part of middle east. However Levant region also carries south western Arab dna, which pashtuns lack

So my personal conclusion is no, the connection to Semitic people doesn't seem to be true, at least on the dna level so far.

Pashtuns seem much closer to Caucasus/Caspian region and native south asians populations compared with Semitic people

Having Western Euroasian genes would contradict claims of Pashtuns being Jews/Arabs?
I have seen a few results for Pashtuns. Not sure how representative they are but I will post them here when I get a chance.

I did (quite a while ago) see a report about the Nuristanis. That report (which was not detailed) mentioned genetic tests done on Nuristanis by Soviets (Russians). I understand the Nuristanis have large percentage with blond/red hair and coloured eyes. According to those results the Nuristanis were closest to "north Indians" (who as we know do vary quite a lot in appearance).

Therefore that report would suggest having blond hair and green/blue eyes does not necessarily make such people somehow closer to "Europeans" than others having brown skin, brown eyes and black hair.

Karachi - a quiz for you. Take one DARK typical Nigerian man. And one "pure" DARK Australian Aborigne not mixed with Europeans. And one brown haired, olive skinned Pashtun with green eyes. And one blond yellow haired German man with ice blue eyes and pink skin.

Who is the furthest genetically from the Nigerian out of the other three?

Which of the other three people are closer genetically to the Nigerian?

genetically Australian Aborignals are furthest away from africans

heck even the Andaman Islanders of India who look almost 100% african are genetically very distant from africans
