What is your expertise, nationality and background that has given you the credibility to accept one theory and reject the other? Do you have any expertise in linguistics?
I take mainstream info with a grain of namak. All throughout the Pashtun article in Wiki states that Pashto history isn't well researched, and then proceeds to say this and that about Pashto history. Wiki and others, are Impugning themselves.

I trust the opinion of you and other Pashtuns about their history, then what these people say. Until the status of "not being well researched" gets removed.

You can't compare materialistic invention to Peoples history, unless their both invented.

Khaana I appreciate the trust but if I have just told some things you apparently didn't accept them. Obviously it is hard to fully study our areas due to the war, political situation and lack of access to foreigners. However the amount they have been able to study they have come to a variety of conclusions and their research is there and backed up. Wikipedia is not a standard of academics, go check out Fyre (spelling?) or Gangovsky.

KingKhan is another Muslim Indian in desperation of an identity for the pure nation created out of the blue on the night of Aug 14, 1947...so the obcession with Gandarian, Indus etc. civilizations...Many Pakis think if they could invent a link between Punjabi-Mahajars etc. based on Indus Civilization, they could extend the history of the synthetic nation back in history few thousands years beyond 1947...

But the ancient Indian label and history are not going to go anywhere....Indus at Attok is the natural and cultural frontier between Indo-Aryans and Iranic people...

Am still edifying myself, I am learning interesting parts of the area.

          Toramana
          Namaste,

Please research indo-schytians, for know. The term "Aryan" is way over blown, please learn more about the original four river civilizations. The Nile, Euphrates, Indus, and yellow river. These were the first civilizations, and when humans started to stop being nomads, and built city-states.

I could care less about modern borders.

Your missing the bigger picture what is Iranic (Aryanic)? They are not the original four river civilizations. The Persians or Iranic people come from Mesopatamia which was home to four empires consisting of city-states. Empires like the Babylonians, Sumerians, and Assyrians come from Mesopatamia. Ancient Mesopatamia extends from all off Iraq, eastern Syria, south eastern Turkey, east and south eastern Iran. From Mesopatamia, comes the Persians.

I don't think Indo-Schytians are fully "Iranic". Indo-Schytians were located exactly within the borders of the Indus River civilizations.

              Map of the region.

Here's a map, which indicates the Indus River Civilization.

You do understand Scythians came from as far as present day Ukraine and the Yuezhi came from the tarim basin? See you can't just link places up on the basis of very flimsy proof and what is not conveniently in line with what you believe. BTW those maps are by mainstream authors. Are you sure you know the background of these people who made the maps? How can you trust its authenticity?

                  All humans are from Adam.

Then comes Noah (a mesopatamian). Flood destroys mankind, instead of his family.

All humans are related to one of three Noah's children. Sam, Ham Japhete.

From his children come the four river civilizations.

From the Egyptians (Nile valley) come the Africans.

From the Mesopatamians, come the middle eastern, and Eurasians.

From the Yangtze, comes the East Asians.

From the Indus, comes the South Asians/ Central Asians.

These are all my observations, coming from religious sources, as well as my own studies. You can ignore the maps, as it is unreliable.

Idk that is good question. Perhaps am wrong, and am wasting my time. I like to make my own hypothesis, and come up with my own conclusion.

Am a big fan of Socrates, so am suspicious of everything.

If your trying to associate the Pashtun people with bengalis and Indians, Then you would be dissapointed.

do you believe that the great flood was world wide?
                              or was it around Iraq?

                                King-Khan

Do you seriously think all mankind came from Adam and Eve?

Science has proven that all mankind came from Africa or somewhere close to that.

Plus the bones founded that shown how early mankind looked like, are you telling me those bones which were similar to ours were of adam and eve?

Your evidence is on the basis of some texts written by a man, their fairytales in the world of science.

There was no Noah, where was no man living in a fish, there was no animals on one boat etc etc etc, these are all folklore fairy tales that have no logical basis and neither are they any sort of evidence to prove mankinds real origin let alone the origins of the Pashtun people.

Pashtuns are not semitic and are not of any Islamic or Jewish stock, they are what they are as explained before on this thread by BLS.

This Arabisation/Jewfication/Semitisation has just begun to flourish when Pakistan was created, Pakistani Muslims are confused people, they are ashamed of their past and their real racial origins, so they try to associate themselves with Pashtuns to feel some enlightenment, but ask them to share the electrcity they steal from us, oh no they will object to that.

Its a utter shame for us to even associate ourselves with Arabs and Jews, do we not have our own race and culture?
