Shayesta rascism takes us nowhere. I've seen pashtuns marrying pashtanas, then their kids end up being messed up or the parents divorce and their family has so many problems.

These people are so ungrateful it is like the example of someone wishing to have a son, but they don't ask Allah please grant me good offspring who are pious. Who wants a son who is deviant??

So who wants a husband or a wife who is evil and bad for him??? Bad for his family...i don't mind who i marry as long as she is muslim and is able to raise my kids in the way i would like and this rascism gets us nowhere. Because it has no limits, there is so much rascism in our society than some families go as far as saying you must marry your COUSIN or you must marry only your village people...tobah

I have to admire maseed's dog training abilities. ONE OF A KIND.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

a 100% Pashtun to me is someone who can speak pashto, have pashtun parents and follow pashtunwali.

^ Oh my ... I skimmed this page bec of what you've quoted.

How horrible some of you are! Stop being so judgmental. Who are you to say what someone is and what someone is not?

Honestly some of you guys go way too far, please relax, for your own sake.

It's the blessed month of Ramadan, and we have been blessed to witness it Alhamdulillah.

Hmm... let's suppose we DO figure out who's Pashtun and who's not. So what? What did we go through all that hell for? To decide whether someone can marry your daughter or not? Or whether you can marry them or not? Or whether you should kick them out of your village? Or whether you can greet them in an honorably way or not? So you can impose Pashtunwali on them?

I guess what I mean is, why does it matter who's Pashtun and who's not, especially when people tell you they're Pashtuns already and you're like, "Wait, lemme do some inspection to make sure you're INDEED Pashtun"? If all was well in our society and we had no bigger issues or concerns to worry about, I'd understand. But when all is NOT well, why does it matter whether someone's Pashtun or not?

Qrratugai dont be so superficial, perhaps you are not well aware how marraiges are arranged between two families in pakhtunkhwa. Remember unlike west, in pashtuns marraige is between two families not two persons only. A full research about details concerning origin and repute is done about the family who send rishta before saying yes to them.

Well such a research never works out. I marry my wife not her family. Imagine a girl is born to bad parents, but she is a good girl. With such a concept this girl would be un-married..how sad

I have seen many sharabi, qimarr baz, sons come out of religious parents. those are the families that people used to give examples of and now their newere generation is out of control

Mind explaining to me what that has to do with my post? It certainly doesn't answer any of the questions I asked in my post. And I maintain what I said in there.

And don't tell me how marriages are done in Pashtunkhwa/Afghanistan. I'm already fully aware of the full and deep involvement of elders in marriage arrangements.

You can also say that you dont mind chitralis, gilgatis, baltis, kohistanis, awans, brahavis etc and that they are pashtuns.
                                Remember pashtun is a race.
