Pedophilia in Pashtun society

True the west have control over media but also they know how to talk, they have the knowledge to convince others. This way they making the human beings the slaves of nafs, whatever their nafs wants they do it. Spirituality is going away. We Muslims though we speak the truth but we don't have the technique to play with words and convince the masses.

When we're talking about pedophilia, we should keep in mind that it doesn't matter if a grown up sleeps with a young boy or a young girl. Not only is bachabazi pedophilia, but it is also pedophilia when a thirty (or even fifty) years old man marries a ten year old girl.
Homosexuality is not synonymous to pedophilia.
There's no point in discriminating two teenagers or two grown-ups which have a homosexual relationship by mutual agreement.

Yes this difference is essential. Bachabazi and having children for sex is one thing and sexual relationship by mutual consent of two or many adults is another.Originally posted by لومپ View PostWhen we're talking about pedophilia, we should keep in mind that it doesn't matter if a grown up sleeps with a young boy or a young girl. For me sex with mutual consent with due care as of health and pregnancy is some thing normal but having sex with a child is a crime.

The way you are talking is called arranged marriage or arranged relationship. This practice is in vogue in your traditional conservative Islamist world so you may present your daughter to me as your daughter is a commodity and is put on sale. If I buy it then the deal is done if not I search another and you another boy for your daughter.Originally posted by Manzareh View PostBadlun, can you introduce me to your daughter for sex, she will most probably give consent and i will use protection. In my world things happen differently. One day if I have a daughter, I will educate her fully and once she is 18 years old, she will be a complete human being, a complete mature adult person, and if she falls in love with you on her own then she can take the decision the way she wants. I will never impose any decision on her. Yes being her father and as a sincere friend my advice and counselling will be always available to her.

In your ideal Islamopheobic scenario that is the case, however in Islam females are not an item they are to be respected. In your atheistic viewpoint there is no such thing as honour or gherat, you only follow the law of your animalistic tendencies and feeding your desires, which makes one a dishonourable begherat. It amuses me how you have nothing in common with Pashtuns or Muslims yet you're here for years on end preaching your BS as if your some credible authority on our culture.----------

Where females are respected in the Muslim world? In the place of birth of Islam, Saudi, women even cannot drive. In Islamism, two women are equal to one man in evidence and inheritance. Husbands can beat wives to reform them. Child marriage is legal. Women are enslaved on the name of hijab and many of them pass their whole life within the 4 walls of their houses like prisoners.Originally posted by Manzareh View PostIn your ideal Islamopheobic scenario that is the case, however in Islam females are not an item they are to be respected. Financially they must depend on their male partners or relatives. A woman even cannot talk to a stranger except very close blood relatives like father and brother. A woman cannot travel alone. A woman must have a wali(guardian) to decide her marriage. Is it respect or barbarity? In Islamism women are lesser human beings. They cannot become head of a state. Women are discriminated everywhere.

Females around the world depend on male partners and relatives to survive and they suffer difficulties irrespective of religion, this is a common place in non-muslim countries aswel, you try and scapegoat a religion based on your own agenda. Islamopheobes like you like to focus on what they can to paint a certain image of Islam, you cherry pick a small percentage of what you like from a population of nearly 2 billion muslims and make out that it is the representation for the whole of islam, well let me educate you. Muslims freely elected and have women as their leaders in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Senegal, Indonesia, Kyrgystan, Kosovo etc etc the list goes on.. we are talking Prime ministers, Presidents here, tell me as a non-muslim how many female leaders do you have or had in USA or wherever you are from? You are very sneaky in your wordings but the truth always prevails.Originally posted by Badlun View PostWhere females are respected in the Muslim world? I like non personal kind of discussions to learn and share. If you take Quran as the sacred book of Islamism without interpretation then you find that women are half of men in evidence and inheritance. Women can be beaten and one man can have 4 wives while woman cannot have 4 husbands. Non Muslim woman can marry a Muslim man but a Muslim woman cannot marry a Non Muslim man.Originally posted by Manzareh View PostFemales around the world depend on male partners and relatives to survive and they suffer difficulties irrespective of religion, this is a common place in non-muslim countries aswel, you try and scapegoat a religion based on your own agenda. A raped woman has to present 4 witnesses to defend her in court of law but no such injunctions for men. Hadith prohibits women to be heads of states. What you have is in disobedience of Islamism. A man can divorce her wife just by saying few words but woman has to knock the doors of a court for her divorce. Is it not discrimination?

Religion is a personal thing, so I don't want to hear 'I like non-personal kind of discussions' you think you can be personal to others and have them be on the defensive side whilst you carry on your verbal attacks on our principles and way of life? I don't think so.
In the Jewish Torah it says one can commit acts of rape and beastiality legally, do you see Jews having intercourse with animals based on this? In the bible it says women should be lashed for certain actions like not covering up, do you see them getting lashed? Ovcourse not, why? Because the world and religion is not black and white, law in Islam is a huge subject, one can not summarise it in a few sentences as you have done, it's like taking a scenario and jumping to a conclusion without a trial, we are talking of life aspects which needs to be treated sensitively and thoroughly. Ovcourse there is a thumb rule for laws as there is for inheritance but it is not to say every case is exactly the same because all situations are different. Go to your local court room if you need a practical example of this.
The thing about women needing 4 witnesses to defend herself against rape is something you have fabricated. Furthermore we have DNA and things like CCTV footage to determine evidences, Islam is not agains the use of these. Let me tell you this.
Furthermore I can sit here and type all that is wrong with your non-Muslim system, life and legal system. Should I expect you as a mere layman in law and the legal system to give us all the answers of laws and also expect you to justify supposed flaws that I may pick out? Not sure you would be able to.----------

I agreed with your comment before between child sex being a crime. But what you said now is wrong. But you are not to be blamed, well not fully at least. The problem is that a lot of the world's muslims combine religion and culture. They use religion to support their cultural behaviors and traditions. It doesn't say men can abuse thier wives to reform them, that is the LAST option. The first is to talk to them, then it is to separate yourself from her. I see a lot of abuse in the Western society too. It's all over media. It is not just a muslim thing. Abuse happens all over, why don't we blame Christianity when a white or black guy abuses their wife? Why don't we blame Judaism when a Jew or Isreali abuses their wife? The problem with your thoughts on this is it's very hypocritical. It's not a religious problem when a american or european does it, but as long as it's a muslim doing it, it is a religious problem.Originally posted by Badlun View PostWhere females are respected in the Muslim world? Women not being able to drive in Saudi is not a religious ban. It is something men established to make sure women were completely dependent on their husbands, fathers and brothers. It is a culture, their culture doesn't allow women to drive and the men are using islam as the reason.
Again, who said hijab is imprisonment? Who said we are caged with the hijab. I wear a hijab and I'm very proud of it. I wouldn't want people to see me how I look, to judge me on my appearance. To me, hijab is empowering and to take it off and show my body, that is demoralizing and dehumanizing. A woman should be covered, not paraded around naked for men to enjoy. And how are women stuck in 4 walls, when islam has allowed women to get an education, to be able to work and support herself. In fact, in islam, it is said that a man's wealth and income is his wife's also, but a woman's income and wealth is only hers. Her husband can not take it from her. I know many women that are successful, and muslim. And guess what, they wear hijab and they are covered. They don't have to show their body to be successful.
Women can talk, there is nothing wrong with talking, cultures take it too far and say women can not talk to anybody from the opposite gender. There is nothing wrong with having guy friends, as long as they are just friends.
I would suggest you first learn the difference between islam and muslim cultures. I know it is hard, because a lot of muslims have integrated culture into islam, but you have to learn what is culture and what is islam.Last edited by Diaphanous; 10-23-2014, 01:19 PM.If you aren't with me, you're against me. Pedophilia is in the culture of the pashtuns. It is not something that islam has either allowed nor has it denounced it. Islam has left it to us, as people, to determine what is right and what is wrong. The problem is that pashtuns don't really care about right or wrong, as long as their pride is not diminished.
It is sad to know that a lot of families would throw their daughters to the wolves to make sure their pride and dignity is still in tact. But again, it is all culture, not religion that is telling us to do this.If you aren't with me, you're against me. Don't take me on, because you will lose" - Snow Blind (book)

I appreciate your balanced approach. Culture has nothing to do with religion and that is why dress cannot be part of religion as dress is part of culture or fashion.Originally posted by Diaphanous View PostI agreed with your comment before between child sex being a crime. Hijab is a restriction as you cannot run, play, go to beaches, swim, hunt and many other physical activities wearing Hijab. Burka and covering face also impair communication. According to Hadith voice of a women is also zina. Segregation of sexes is a big issue in Muslim and Pashtun world. What matters is person or personality not gender or sex.
