what i fail to understand is why are non pashtuns/muslims trying so hard to make a point on behalf of the two telling every pashtun member that they disagree with that they are mindless and clueless. yeah they are but that doesn't make you right unles you tell me where you got your phd on the subject of the matter from. so why don't you all shut the buck up and let someone who is married to a non pashtun or a non pashtun who is married to one give out his/her opinion and get this over with??

I didn't say you were trying to be unique. Marry who you want, I don't see it as a big problem.Originally posted by sgulab View PostI dont understand what there is to be confused about. Also, i was not trying to be unique. I was just trying to talk about what this thread is actually about.

ukhhhhhhhhhh i have to ask it again?? the question is...
are you a pashtun who is married to a non pashtun or a non pashtun married to a pashtun?? if not then what gives you the right to speak on the behalf of either one of them?? because they are the only people whose opinions are legitimate and worth considering and to whom the subject should concern as they speak out of experience.
the rest of you are just wasting everyone's time.

Pashtana from Wardak.

Actually, there is no such thing as a Pakistani Pashtun. Many of the Pashtun tribes in rural Afghanistan can be found in KP, FATA, and Balochistan. Remember these are one people who in the past have fought against foreigners. It was the Ghiljay who massacred the British army with Wazir Akbar Khan (Abdali), and it was the Afridis who massacred the British too at the Khyber Pass. All the tribes worked together, and were (are) united. Tribes are related through marriage and common ancestry.
Now take Quetta and Peshawar , there are many Pashtuns who migrated from Afghanistan, specifically the border regions. In Quetta, all Pashtun tribes are represented. You have Ahmadzais , Kakars from all over, Khattaks, Afridis, Durranis, Yousefzais, Noorzai, and the list goes on. This just shows how false the line is. Now take the Mohmand and other border regions.- you have Pashtun tribes who live right on Durrand, and have family on both sides. Point is they dont recognize the line at all. How do think Wazirs and Maseeds are present in Kunar and Logar? They have been crossing always, its nothing new.
The line is false, and people ignore it.Last edited by Guest; 06-22-2011, 05:20 PM.

no wrora, Its nothing to do with intelligent, well mannered and understanding, most important part for me is Culture and langauge.Originally posted by Mina View PostIf a person is intelligent, well mannered and understanding, then I really don't understand why him being a Tajik or a Hazara or a Punjabi be a problem. For some Afghan Pashtuns even a Pakistani Pashtun is a alien, no wonder we fail to seek understanding.
