bachem, math has nothing to do with it. do u think our prophet would of fell into the 90% that u dislike or the 10% that u like? a man that preached jihad and practiced it would surely not be among ur 10%.

eras have nothing to do with it. we are not christians who think their bible and the word of god is outdated because they like to live less stringently. a muslim, and what qualifies him/her as such, is the same 1000 years ago and 1000 years from now.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

you dont understand quite what i'm talking about do you?

it's difficult to explain for the second time. there is nothing wrong with the virtues of Islam, including Jihad, which may just be a struggle in education. Re-read it all. If you don't understand still, i can't help.

Usually seperate but I have been to weddings which were not segregated. It mainly depends on the family and how liberal they are.

there is no point in attending weddings these days. you go and sit there. the same music is played. they walk in and then walk out and then food is served. some more damtob and then everyone goes home. now back in the days, you would have to fight the crowd just to get a glimpse of the bride. the entertainment was provided by the family members and basically everyone was involved. i loved weddings back then. the entire craziness of it was worth being a part of. if male cousins came in to watch, it was not a big deal as they were not there to ogle girls and strangers were not allowed in. these days it's just an excuse for people to dress up and be stupid. sooo much money wasted on nothing.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

Definatly wrora, I was shattered at hearing the fact that people spend £30000-£50000 for their weddings, I don't get it, why put yourself in debt like that(unless your rich but how many of us are?)

I've waitered at desi weddings and to be honest its all such a joke, the spamming of Imran Khans Amplifier song and hyping it up to the max as if its the royal wedding itself.

Yes weddings are a blessing but there is a right way to go about it. Even 10 years ago weddings were a lot nicer, people used to be separate(I guess thats my answer to the thread), no music, no hyping, simple and calm. Whats happened to the islamic way?

Are you uneducated? It seems you have read something you didn't like and you have chosen to harass me for the rest of my life. I have my views, you have yours. I think Taliban are terrorists easing USA's task of occupying Afghanistan. You think they are holy men. You are entitled to your opinion.

And you are off-topic. Instead of replying to my post you are replying to my signature. Sig-na-ture. The thing at the bottom forums have an option of members keeping. It shows on every post.

Back to topic again. Afghanistan2010 do you marry in caves? Are there any women in those caves?

Yes always mixed. only time genders are segregated is at home parties.. men in one room talking politics (l0l) and women on the other side laughing having fun and chit chatting. id say they are seperate not for any other reason than the women would annoy the men and men come in randomly too btw.. as previously mentioned these people see eachother all the time anyways (school, work etc) so what makes a difference?
