segregated, full stop! The men do not mingle with the women, and the women do not mingle with the men. In our village not only the family comes, but everyone else including distant relatives of some distant friend or cousin comes, who then invite their own families. The pardha system is greatly valued in our house hold!

About 3 or so years ago my brother and I and some cousins were left at the gates with guns just to make sure no female comes "accidentally" into the mens section, and no man "accidentally" gets "lost" in the women's section.
Increase the peace, don't wreck the party
And **** da jol up for everybody

I'm a Muslim of course. Though I prefer atheists over theologists.

              Contradiction.

There are people who are obsessed with the name muslim (because they use it just as title),and they have not yet achieved the state of mumin.

You sound like a fundamentalist. Lack of tolerance, takes the position of judge jury no doubts executioner....

so u prefer non believers over people who follow the theology of islam?

the whole "i'm a muslim, but..." is overplayed. either u are or aren't, there is no in between.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

yep. most definitely. I find 90% of Muslims stifling. I find 90% of atheists/light theologists to be great people.

                            obviously you've not done mathematique (90% = 9/10)

comparing different eras is ludicrous anyway.

From among the people they say that they believe in Allah and the last day,yet they are not believers.

Most weddings i've been to in the West were not segragated.

I have never been to a wedding in Afghanistan (in the Kabul 'hotels' or in the villages) that was not segregated.
