LOL! Quit it already! Didn't you hear me when I was hitting everyone who said that with a slate! Like this: No, wait - that's a chair!?

I'm kidding, of course. It's just too much fun saying that. And I myself am laughing at it! I seriously cannot come up with ANY tapey! Someone should train us how to write rrrrreally good tapeys!

Speaking of being taught . . . whatever happened to our ideas of

- Giving topics to write Pukhto poems (short ones), led by our Pukhto poets here
- Giving topics to write English poems (short ones), led by our English poets here

C'mon. I'm serious about it. We should be given a specific topic and then we can post our poems we come up with -- and we may PM them to a certain poet or poets if we don't want everyone to see them -- and then get both positve and negative feedback, NOT like "Great poem!! Keep it up!" etc. I RRRRRRReally wanna learn to write Pukhto poetry, and the only poem I have so far is "Ta Laare Da Bal Cha Shwe," which I myself love but obviously needs a lot of work.

Can someone teach me how to make up these landais. I want to learn.

Not sure about landays, but for tapey, the rule is:

- Two lines only.
- First line must have 9 syllables.
- Second line must have 13 syllables AND end with a chirgai hey (the "ha" with two eyes).
