Qurut shorwa?

Qurut or yogurt with kadu is delicious. And "qwrat aw ghwari," which is pieces of bread, qurut, fried onions, and oil.

Has anyone had the wonderful Jordanian dish, mansaf? Qurut is one of the ingredients, I believe.

We call them gubbun (or gibbun), but one of my Turkish friends told me the word quroot or kurut means "to dry" in Turkic languages. Kurut is very popular among Turkic people.

Just ate Karhoo, its sort of kwarat but we add flour to it which makes it a little thicker and yellowish. I personally like Karho better than Kwarat.

^yes its the same... there is no kwarat shorwa... its just qwarat aw ghwarri that we make and eat it like shorwa...
