they're labeled extremists BECAUSE THEY DONT STICK TO THE FACTS, the word extremist means deviating from the proper set of principles, hence an extreme.

they maybe consistent, but consistent on the wrong things.

they are the people who have been historically used against their own people by westerners and have been too stupid to see or believe it because of their own blind retarded and ignorant zeal. take al qaeda for example. who needs western militaries, mossad, raw, isi, and the cia when u have these idiot extremists who kill us from within our nation.

i mean really now, what have these people accomplished on their own? what have they created that has ever been worth defending?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

              Historically used against their people?

When our grandfathers were fighting the British, similar "moderate muslims" like yourself would label historic figures lik Mullah Pawinda as an "extremist".

WHo ever is harsh against the kuffaar is always treated as an extremist by the people who have been intelectually subdued by the Western Media.

the problem is based on the evidence we find in the Qur'an and Hadith, they're extreme in authentic Islamic standards as well.

the people who fought against the puppet afghan structure were ordinary muslims, they did not slaughter their own innocent people. the puppet afghan structure was not muslim to begin with, so labeling them moderate or anything else is ridiculous.

Mullah Pawanda didn't shoot women who survived a stoning

the harshness against Kuffar rhetoric is just a scapegoat. As no one here has suggested a special degree of leniency towards kuffar.

I don't know what Western Media has to do with the Taliban not following standard Islamic injunctions for Islamic Penal code. Seems like a weak defense.

Well I don't see Mu'tazilah claiming God has a finite body or shooting women after they survived stoning, who in the Prophetic Tradition should have been let go after that point. Nor they feel doing so is a "minor" deviation. Perhaps if we find things like this, this might be construed as deviating.

Most Muslims through out history have shunned Khariji doctrines, Mu'tazilism produced universally recognized Scholars, like Imam Abul Qasim Mahmoud Zamakhshari. Even those "Wahhabis" (oh no I said Wahhabi) use his works, sort of strange for someone who's a deviant being cited by even the most degraded Muslims, like Wahhabis.

You don't see Mu'tazilah claiming god has a finite body, sure. But you dont use qur'an when you establish your creed. You rather use greek logic. Who are you to call people deviant. And so the talib shot the woman. Too bad. However, that was not what he learned from the methodology of ahlul sunnah.

You have a problem this whole issue because you have turned into a softy.

You are hiding behind Mu'tazilism to protect your weird ideas.

The Mu'tazillah were the Khawarij. And you are a follower of them. Go read some books.

there's no such thing as "Greek Logic" there's NATURAL LOGIC, Natural Logic comes from God, it's apart of the Human 'Aql, Greeks didn't invent it, Nature is apart of the effulgence of the Creator.

I know the that's not the methodology of the Ahl-Al-Sunnah, that's not the methodology of any aspect of Islam. it's not because he shot her because as a Mu'tazilah, I understand the essential object of penalty in Islam is not the way of punishing itself but that the punishment for things which are socially detrimental, but he was ignoring other aspects of Islam.

The irony is you were applying Mu'tazilah techniques earlier and didn't even realize it. That's how universally relevant Mu'tazili approach is.

I do use the Qur'an to establish my creed, the Qur'an stresses looking at Nature, using logic and understanding it's teachings and evidences and the ways of Nabi(saw) in respects to the Natural world. That's why Mu'tazillah can intellectually defeat kuffar and establish the legitimacy of the Islaamic path in worldly affairs better than your run-of-the-mill bigoted Wahhabi or extremist Shi'a can, because their thought processes is arrested in dogma.

No the Khawarij were never defined as Mu'tazilah, the Khawarij, always definitively had views similar to the Taliban, AlQaida and that ilk. If the Mu'tazilah were Khawarij, the Khilafah would never have endorsed them; notice also that the Mu'tazilah also helped make Muslims insurmountable; that's God's benediction, while Muslims under any other approach towards Islam have been made weak and corrupt and more indulgent in grave sins. Food for Thought.

That's just what I have noticing over these weeks and months as well, these
people using a little Pashtun flourish here or there but
INEVITABLY FAILING TO COME TO THE DEFENSE OF PASHTUNS under attack - whether from NATO or the problem of Pashtun women being dragged out of their
traditional ways and into Western lifestyles.

If there hadn't been strong resistance put up in real life, by now we would be seeing a spate of interviews with them on TV.

Their names would be Gladys or Mabel and they would rail against their awful oppression by Pashtun men.
Prominent American feminists would be cameoed alongside these Pashtun women showing patronizing support for their younger sisters 'valiantly struggling for their rights'.
All American women viewers would be nodding sympathetically. American men would feel compelled to nod too in order to be 'cool'.

It's best to be honest always for the members here.
Instead of skulking around making such attacks on people defending Pashtun ways, which is after all the topic of this site,
just admit that you have a different ethnic background and hence have
little sympathy for the plight of Pashtuns.

It would be comprehensible then why there seems so much animosity toward those who stick up for Pashtuns.

Thanks babo for pointing much of this out - and exposing why they wish to learn Pashto.
I guess there is still recruiting taking place, the economy is bad and temptation must be great.

I recommend those people to follow handsomepashtun's path
