anyone claiming that are stupid and wants to divide people

secondly i want to know why you people think that it is impossible that a small percentage of the pashtun can be related to the prophet or anyone else
do you you people think we're some kind of pure race?
or don't you people like the idea that there are people from other origins

you are the one who claims you descend from prophets and you call me arrogant?

    Lets consider the following:

Suppose all pashtuns are direct descendants of a famous prophet. Let's take the best of all, the prophet muhammad sal allahu alayhi wasalam.

Suppose we are all related to him. So what? Does that lessen the kufr among us in anyway? Does it make us any better than others in any way?

As a matter of fact, there are many fatimite sayyids who are alcoholics, gamblers, apostates and liars. There are a few here in Holland who use to work for the communist government in Afghanistan.

There are likwise, many Quraishi Arabs in Saudi who are criminals, thieves and munafiqs.

Being related to anyone is useless when there is nothing that you can produce to live up to the status of your ancestor. Especially if we look at Pashtuns. Even if we were related to prophets, we have some among us who worship graves and have a foot fetish with their sufi sheikh. We have apostates who advocate gay marriages, we have criminals who serve as servants of crusaders and kill our people.

There is no honor in tribe, ethnicity or whatever. There is good and bad everywhere. Only thing that matters, is if a person is trully a good Muslim or not.

I advice to to stop this useless bickering about jewish roots and do something useful instead.

Well, abdul is trying his best, and seems very sincere.
These are tricky items to sort out.
But valuable, because we do hear so much bragging about this and that.
It is nice, but one shouldn't get overwhelmed about one's importance due to a certain lineage. I get tired of hearing that too.
After all, one of the last Ottoman descendants was interviewed before he died and he was all FOR democracy. He waived off any idea that Ottomans could or should be restored. He seemed from the interview I read disinterested in Islam. In short, a secular type.
So if someone like this were to run around bragging about his illustrious ancestors, it would be wrong and useless.

Abdul, thanks. I had clicked on the avatar to try to see what they are, of course that didn't magnify the image. Dogs, that's FUNNY!
      I always disliked them. Ick.

first of all i never claimed to be a descendant of a prophet
i said my cousins are descendant's of the prophet and they have a family tree to proof that

secondly i never claimed that all pashtuns are related to the prophet or someone else
        but a small percentage

and if one person is bad it doesn't mean that everyone of that tribe or family is bad

third no man should forget his origin or their ancestors
no matter if its one person or more
or if they were good people or bad
        known people or unkown
        you should not forget them
i don't tread my cousins any different because they are the descendant of the prophet than those who aren't

fourth i started about this topic because people here said that pashtuns can't be an descendat of arabs or other people

fifth i'm for uniting muslims but against forgetting your past even the quran makes us remember the past

if your a good muslim you should search for knowledge and share it or tell people that they are mistaken and help them correct it not hide it

sixth read your own thread because if you have written a lot of nonsense in this message

i'm doing something useful i'm teaching you people a little history and sharing my knowledge

You might wanna reconsider your claim da ma zra sara.

Sahi Muslim Book 031, Number 5920:
Yazid b. Hayyan reported, I went along with Husain b. Sabra and 'Umar b. Muslim to Zaid b. Arqam and, as we sat by his side, Husain said to him: Zaid. you have been able to acquire a great virtue that you saw Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) listened to his talk, fought by his side in (different) battles, offered prayer behind me. Zaid, you have in fact earned a great virtue. Zaid, narrate to us what you heard from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). He said: I have grown old and have almost spent my age and I have forgotten some of the things which I remembered in connection with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him), so accept whatever I narrate to you, and which I do not narrate do not compel me to do that. He then said: One day Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up to deliver sermon at a watering place known as Khumm situated between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, extolled Him and delivered the sermon and. exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah's call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family. He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: 'Ali and the offspring of 'Ali, 'Aqil and the offspring of 'Aqil and the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of 'Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes.
