But we know he was poisoned by that Caliph by means of grapes in Tus, near modern Mashhad.

So for sure those descendants traveled quite far from the Ommayad or Abbasid capitals of Damascus and Baghdad.

Pashtunwali is not a written law. Besides, we have many similar customs and our code of ethics is quite similar to the Chechen code of ethics. And the Bedouin tribes of Arabia and the nomadic tribes of North Africa have allot of similarities.

In cultural anthropology a mere resemble of ethics and customs does not provide sufficient evidence to prove relationships.

It's just wishful thinking and boastfulness among us that makes us believe we are either related to the prophets or we are Aryan superior nation or whatever.
