  • Female Imam?

Sometime ago there was a news where a lady was an Imam in prayers.

My question is, is it permissible? I know what the religious people stance are, I will be interested to see what the other people are saying!

P.S. Please if you can answer the question and have an opinion about it just stick to it. Don't try to attack each other. That's not what adults do.
We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.

If I agree with you we w'd both be wrong.

Does it matter? Will it change your answer?

I am not a scholar so I am in no position to give my opinion. The religious people I have heard says it is not allowed.

linguistically the ''imam'' is some one who leads the Congregational prayer and delvers the Friday khutba, so if you mean a female imam in this since then according to the scholars its permissible

well just to let the guy know that there are difference of opinions

even though the common since is that a female cannot lead mixed Congregational prayers for obvious reasons
