But Tarek Fatah and/or whoever described this should resolve having a self hating inferiority complex first rather than advise Muslims on what to do.

1.) Smiling is advised by the Prophet(saw) as sadaqah,
2.) Politics possess beliefs and ideals about how to manage society and human affairs, religion the same, hence they'll be intrinsically intertwined

3.) Islam is the sum totality of truth, not "the only" truth.

4.) Armed Jihad is not identical to terrorism, and terrorism is not armed jihad

5.) Falling in love is accepted in f Islam. guising lewd and loose behavior as "falling in love" is not.

6.) Hatred of any people for their identity alone is not advocates in Islam

7.) So 2nd cousins are OK, just the first cousins are off limits?

- Your second point is garbage, that fact is that muslims believe in Offensive Jihad, which is nothing but a holy war against the non believers, this is the way Islam was spread, there are hundreds of accounts of what muslims did to non muslims in Iran, Egypt, India and so many other places. Hiding that (muslims have a extremely violent history) wont change the real history about the spread of Islam

Wrong, Islam teaches that Allah(swt) sent 144,000 Messengers and Prophets to different peoples. There are shades of Islam in all cultures and religions. Islam is not simply the way people pray and eat, it's also the way the universe works in continuum, the way planets orbit, the way birds chirp. Islam is the sum total of all truths, whether spoken by Nabi(saw) or Lao Tzu (ra) or rendered in the elegance of nature and beyond.

Not necessariily, when Muslims have treaties, there's no offensive jihad, Offensive jihad is only to uproot immorality, not to pick on non Muslims.

Not Garbage at all, What Muslims do and what Islam teaches are not necessarily in lock step. There's no Qur'an or Ahadith that commands hatred in fact ON THE CONTRARY

You claimed that I'd be called a "kafir", but how can I be called a kafir for a verse that teaches restraint and justice to everyone. Islam is Qur'an and the hadiths explain or elucidate the context of the Qur'an.

The problem with most Muslims if they're not being taught Islam in its full extent. They're taught aggression but not taught that responsibility and temperament and restraint that are supposed to control aggression.
