    Mirza never was a prophet.
If you take the verses and the ahadith literally, then you are correct. I will admit that.

However, I don't take them all literal. I take with the understand of the metaphorical language.

By the way, Hadhrat Isa (as) never died on the cross.

remember our prohpet Mohammad(s.a.a.w) said on the last sermon

O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.

        • I know he never said that but he said that, he was the second coming of Isa and that he was a prophet.
so you have to choose believe Mirza or Prophet mohammad(s.a.a.w).

            My dearest brother,

I believe that Hadhrat Isa (as) is passed away because he had a natural death.

I believe that Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) is the Promised Messiah and the Mahdi. I believe without a shadow of doubt that he is a prophet.

I am a strict follower of Hadhrat Muhammad (saw). I have accepted Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) on the account of Hadhrat Muhammad (saw).

None of them is a liar. They are both fighting for the same cause. Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) does not have a law of his own; he is a follower of the Law of Hadhrat Muhammad (saw).

The above hadith has to be compared with other ahadith and Quranic verses.

                          Dearest sister,

First of all, not all prophets' names have been mentioned in the Quran.

Secondly, this 6th verse in Surah Saff is clearly refer to a Prophet with the name Ahmad. This also refers to Hadhrat Muhammad (saw), but Hadhrat Muhammad (saw)'s name was never Ahmad. No one in his lifetime ever called him Ahmad.

[61:6] And remember when Jesus, son of Mary, said, ‘O children of Israel, surely I am Allah’s Messenger unto you, fulfilling that which is before me of the Torah, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger who will come after me. His name will be Ahmad.’ And when he came to them with clear proofs, they said, ‘This is clear enchantment.’

Further, Surah Saff's other verses are also referring back to this verse. And if you read them carefully you would see that they are not talking about the Holy Prophet (saw) but rather another person who is a follower of Hadhrat Muhamamd (saw).

I would say that this is referring to another prophet appearing immediately after the Prophet (saw). There is a hadith where the Prophet (saw) that if there was to be a prophet after him it would be Hadhrat Umar (ra), but that there is no prophet after him.

Why would the Holy Prophet (saw) mention that Hadhrat Umar (ra) would have been a "prophet" and then say that there is no prophet after him.

This means immediately after his death. It does not mean forever.

The reason being is that the Holy Quran refers to prophets coming in the future.

Yes, I have noticed, dear brother.

I am just trying to compartmentalize your knowledge vis-a-vis history.

You can choose to belief what you want. However, you have to bring fear of Allah within you. I am refuting your interpretation, because I don't see them the way you have interpreted them.

That is why I don't give up.

If you wish we can continue and I can bring Quranic verses.
