mullah should play a role like this in our society, they get a chance every week at friday prayer where people listen to them, but instead of talking against bad customs and social evils in our society, they fantasize islam and telling us how to earn more sawab. other are more political and spreading conspiracy theories.

Yup, the Pashtun culture is dying and is at critical condition.

Pashtuns selling their women is just an all time conspiracy that our Arab Masters have made us do. The Punjabis still know this so this is why they keep bombing Pashtun lands and keep Pashtuns from Progressing. Bombing of girl schools and selling our daughters is a part of it.

Pakistan does not want Pakhtuns to unite, they created the Taliban along with USA and Saudi Islamists to keep Pashtuns divided and destroyed. On one side, Pashtuns in KPK call themselve's proud Pathans and have their history rewritten... Shahid Afridi is Pakistani, not Afghan, go figure and same in AFG, they want to persianize pashtuns. Pashtun culture may be taken away....

The Taliban has done more bad to Pashtuns than it has done to Hazaras.... yeah, the beheaded a hazara girl and massacred 10,000 hazaras but 2 million Pashtuns have died due to this stupid artificial durand line and over time we lose our culture, our language Pashto is dying out, Punjabis and persians think we are low class backwards idiots. The Baloch seperatists recieve way more atttention than Pashtun people......

Pashtuns who sell their daughters are brainwashed by mullahs who are brainwashed by the ISI-Mossad Zionists or whoever you wanna call them and before them, it were Arabs and Mughals that brainwashed us. Pashtuns are also a victim of Heroine just to make money to support jihadists. The Durand line is there for US interest on about the oil pipeline, and also to **** communists.... I don't know how long it will be the Pakistani government will support the Taliban until something about Oil comes to attention , i don't know that much about Oil and about Afghanistan's mineral mines but ffs! Pakistan seriously needs to stop supporting the Taliban, and their greatest fear is losing Peshawar and the Pakhto speaking parts of PAkistan to Afghanistan...

and all it takes is to convince the pakhtuns to sell their daughters?

Like i see Pakhtun girls in real life.

Proud Pakistani "Pathans" from KPK, the women have rights from those whom i come across and don't seem to be the type to sell their daughter...

pass that along with the persianized Pakhtuns in Afghanistan. A big part of this plot is to destroy Pakhtuns , Pakhtun women and their culture and their identity and make them Punjabi or PErsian.... yup.....

We get sawab from improving ourselves and our society. Speaking out against evils of society is an act of worship, disobeying people and acting out against customs and traditions of people is obedience to Allah.

What he is saying in this video is what Prophet Muhammed sal allahu alayhi wasalam was sent to teach us.

Politics is invested with evils, when Mullah speaks about politics he is speaking against evil. Thats what prophet muhammed sal allahu alayhi wasalam did. He spoke against the politics of Quraish, the Aws and Khasraj and the Byzanitines.

Well its kind of strange, that this practise is on the rise in time when your mullahs are in power. Afghanistan is now an ISLAMIC republik. Seems to me that islam is only used as a tool to manipulate the masses to follow them as sheep.

Selling Daughters has always been a part of Pashtun culture, even before pashtuns became Muslim. We were a patriarchal society the whole time, we have kept our women down for so long, face facts dudes.... just assume this has little to do with islam except that by COINCIDENCE the Semetic Arabs had held teh same mysogynist customs as the Indo-Euroepean (Aryan) Pakhtuns by chance ! This is something Aryan PAshtuns had in common with Arabs by chance...

giving women status is rare in PAshun society, like even our tribes are patriarchal.... mysogyny this is not islam, it's PAshtun culture... PAss that along with Punjabis(Pakistanis) and Tajiks, we used to be teh same people a really long long time ago until we broke up into seperate clumps, our customs began to change little be little. Punjabis destroyed the Mohenjo Daro culture learned to eat Dal....

Listen. **** customs, and culture. Naturally, a man will never sell his daughter to anyone, especially If he is Muslim. If Afghans give their daughters to men out of greed, then that is a different story. That is one person, not a representation of Pashto culture.

There are no pure women, or pure men in Islam. We all sin, but the pious try to sin less.

There are pashtun prostitutes and also punjabi prostitutes . There are prostitutes in every culture and people.

We as Muslims should avoid generalizing anyone. You can only judge someone by their actions.

The problem with a lot of the Pashtuns on this site is that If one Punjabi woman is a *****, then all of you try to label us as a people. If a Pashtun woman is a *****, then she is automatically Punjabi. Afghans on this website are intellectually dishonest.

I am a Punjabi, and I share certain things with religious Pashtuns. In my family, we don't talk to our female cousins, and in our houses, we also have baitaak. When we visit family we sit in baitaak. In Pakistan, Pashtuns also follow this, but in Afghanistan, I am not sure.

Most of the Afghans on this website are overseas fobs with a grudge against Pakistan. Do they really know why they have a grudge? That is a question to ask.

I have a lot more to say, but I don't want to create conflicts with anyone. Every person is free to choose how they live their life. Don't start generalizing people over how they live and their beliefs.

That is simply not true. We pashtun like any asian people in that region took money from the groom for two things
                    1. To buy precents for her, mostly bed sheet, some meubilair, courtines and somtimes gold, most of the time it was something usefull.
                    2. The money was a back-up if the man should die or something than the woman still had some money that she could use.
                    3. This is not selling, most of the time the grooms family makes sure that all the money that they have given to the bride family is also used on the bride. If the groom somehow comes to know that her family did not use all the money, the bride will get a lot of "peghoor" in her new home.

Ofcourse some greedy people keep some money and dont spend all on the bride. But this thing that you call selling is not like wht you think it is. you look at it from the few point of a guy who grew up in the west. Afghans don't see it like that.

And yes there is big abuse in this, and this custome should be stoped all toghether, but this is the task of relligious leaders and people themself....

The only grudge they hold againts Pakistanis is the Durand Line. All they want is to take the PAshtun lands in Pakistan and put it into Afghansitan. FATA, Quetta, KPK, Pesheawar etc. is Afghanistan (or Pashtunistan to be specific), that's the only thing. Therefore they are holding a grudge againts punjabis for this and especially Pakistani PAshtuns not willing the will of Pashtun nationalists but instead that of Pakistanis.

i used to feel that way about the grudge that afghans seem to be holding against pakistan until very recently too. if we are not letting muslims not be defined by a couple terrorists globally, why should we define the entire pakistani nation by it's terrorists??
however, recently i watched a debate amongst a bunch of pakistani and afghan young journalists in which one of the afghan participants raised the question of how dishonest, prejudiced and disrespectful the pakistani officials are towards afghans on diplomatic terms and how afghans are supposed to expect their cosigned policies with their neighbor country to be taken seriously if that is how they are behaving..
the pakistani participants talk about how we need to straighten our ties and gain trust in since we both are two nations that are going through some seriously chaotic situations. immediately after that, one of the same participants makes a stupid and idiotic remark about pakistan not being threatened by the indian/afghan ties because apparently, the indian embassy in afghanistan is made of pakistani cement.

that is not diplomatic. it's not respectful and it most definitely does not suggest that pakistan is interested in promoting or seeking for a peaceful relationship with afghanistan.
your leaders have proven themselves immature and dishonest and so have your citizens. so our grudge against your people is not based on a bunch of myths that have been passed on to us by our forefathers, it's very realistic and based on very very genuine reasons. and don't you go around, thinking that shipping your filth across the border to us will spare you from the consequences of producing terrorists. it will turn back and bite you on the ass, whether we choose to redirect it that way or not.

Well, If you take our government officials to speak for the 180 million of our country as a statement, then all the power to you. Again, that would be your nation's prerogative. Of course the statements made by Afghan officials regarding Pakistan are all honey sweet.

Pakistan and Afghanistan will always be brother/sister states regardless of government. The common people have too much affinity towards each other for it to be otherwise. 2 nations, 1 heart.

And I'm not saying this to further a personal agenda, but the facts speak for themselves.

The elites of Pakistan steal from our people and rise to the political forefront, and you should know that there are dynastic families and other tribals that also rise to the occasion in Afghanistan. The people on both sides are however, indifferent. Not so sure about Afghanistan, but in Pakistan, we really don't discriminate against Afghans in Punjab. Perhaps because we are not ethno-centric, and believe in minding our own business.

On a last note, Pakistan will never make peace with India. The Indians look down on our religion, and want to conquer our lands after a 1000 years of subjugation from their Muslim Mughal rulers. They do not respect Islam, nor humanity. How could they, when they treat their own fellow Hindus as low class, that are unworthy to worship in the same temples as them? If they do not treat their own fairly, you can imagine how they see us Pakistani Muslims. In 1947 they killed many Muslims, they raped many women, and insulted our religion.

I'm not sure If you are familiar with this history, so please look into it. Watch this tv serial to get an idea If you have no knowledge:

My family did in fact suffer. I have a deaf uncle that is still living. The Indians cut out his tongue when he was barely ten. They were impaling muslim infants on their swords and raising them in the air, while the bodies would slide down the blades. They would cut off the breasts off the women and rape them in train stations.

My point being, you expect us to make peace with India? We are eternal enemies, and we will not stop, till one of us are destroyed. If Afghanistan chooses India over Pakistan, then how can you expect a friendly response from Pakistan? You have your nation, but to expect us to have you in the arms of our enemy, and feel brotherly love is unacceptable. Afghanistan will have to make a choice. Either Pakistan or India.

Pakistan can bring security, while India will only bring instability for their hate for Islam and Pakistan.

This is the choice for your government, and due to the proximity there is no way Afghanistan can play neutral.

                          It is what it is.

islam in pakistan and afghanistan has become a cocaine addiction. if that is all left of what ties us to each other, we need to let go. for our own sake. before worrying about india's bias towards muslims, we need to worry about what the muslims of pakistan and afghanistan are doing to each other. besides, afghanistan has had strong ties with india in the past and india has yet to give us a reason to regret that.

And you refuse to understand the dynamic. So why are young Afghans such as your self so quick to externalize this issue? This was something real that happened to the people of Pakistan. If you cannot empathize or fail to see Pakistani viewpoint, then why act surprised?

What ties do you Afghans have with the Indians? You ruled and enslaved them, along with the Turks and Arabs. It is us that receive their hostility to this day. You Afghans, Turks, and Arabs had fun enslaving them, but we Pakistani Muslims receive their hate and deal with them. We even dealt with their genocide of Muslims. And now you *******s want to be friends with them. So now we are in the wrong...while you Afghans and others are saints. Rape their people, enslave them and then become friends. Pff

                              Please grow up.
