I like how this idiot Badlun acts like he has found a technicality in Islam and is so happy about it and is shut down by common sense and the scripture he quotes itself.

Is fasting obligatory in Ramadan?

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Badlun, your acting like those idiots here that think nowruz is okay to celebrate because it was a part of their heritage even though its haram, and then try to associate it with Islam.
You can say one thing that contradicts the Quran and and deny it because you don't agree with the ruling. It just does not work that way."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Badlun the fasting is not an option its obligatory, the option that are given instead of fasting are for those that can not fast due to ilness or other condition. It does not mean that if you feed the poor or do something else you are not obligated to fast, thats not how it works. This are not the option that you can choose from. If you are healthy and have no physical problems or ilness you are obligated to fast. So what is so hard to understand about this? You really seems to be dumber than that ghual khushal.Originally posted by Badlun View PostNo body could explain the real issue that if Quran clearly give you option not to fast then why We keep fast?

I am talking of this verse which clearly give you an option not only of medical reasons or journey but just any difficulty.Originally posted by Badlun View PostAccording to this verse of Holy Quran , fasting is an option not compulsory! You can feed a poor person or fast as fast is always difficult.
Fasting) for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a poor person (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, it is better for you if only you know." (2:183-84)

Amongst those of whom it's required to fast, these are the two main reasons that all exceptions are related to.
I understand what you are trying to say. That if you have the option to feed the hungry, why should you starve yourself instead of doing that. The thing is that if you want to help someone, you should do it for the heck of it rather than scoring points with God by feeding the hungry. Your first option is not ridding yourself off of your sins with the help of your wallet.
Don't you like challenges, Badlun??

I like challenges but not a challenge like khar ghiarat uko, truck uwahalo! (Donkey did not want to move off the road and the truck hit it)Originally posted by DaZahroJaam. View PostAmongst those of whom it's required to fast, these are the two main reasons that all exceptions are related to.

Why a challenge with no result or a counter productive challenge?
My main concern is the bold red part of the verse of the holy Quran which include any difficulty for not fasting besides health and journey.
