  • Boko haram and inactivity of muslim leaders

Recent incidents of kidnapping of school girls by BOKO HARAM, which is claiming to be declaring jihad on western education and zero condemnation by Muslim leaders shows yet again the incompetence of Muslim leader of this world.

Unfortunately, Mullahs of the Muslim world would only raise their voice when their own monetary interests are at risk, other than that they can be least pushed by anyone vilifying the name of the religion and hijacking it for their own interests.

This is what had happened when some Muslims (or those claiming to be Muslims) were carrying out suicide bombing around the world, without any condemnation from major Muslim sheikh. And now again the silence of Muslim leadership in general and mullahs in particular shows their level of commitment to the cause of Islam.

    Were the kidnapped girls Muslim?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

al azhar supports the oppression and murder of thousands of muslims, their word is worthless.

All so-called muslim organizations support the oppression of muslims.

Including the "Muslim" Brotherhood which is an unislamic masonic organization.

Since 1924 and the fall of the caliphate there is no such thing as a muslim authority.

I find the whole story quite amusing, I know I shouldn't, but Boko Haram are simply too funny.

            Tiger Khan,

I dont know much about this group. Despite this, one thing I always try to do whether it involves the Ku Klux Clan, Militant secularists, Militant religionists, Vladimir Putin, or George Bush is that if I hear a claim - I do my best to investigate the issue from every angle.

From what I see there is a significant amount of history and back and forth in both the Central African Republic State and Nigeria. There is far more intricacy than meets the standard media eye that is.

Most of the news these days emanates from the following sources: MSNBC, CBC, BBC, FOX, SKY, Al Jazeera etc. Further complicating trying to ascertain information is that various reporters are beholden to various interests. For instance, Judith Miller of the NY Times was a proven Bush Administration lackey and there are many of these to go around. To date the only truly independent reporting I have seen is from Glen Greenwald who puts his opinions up front and center.

So lets take the recent spate of violence in the Central African Republic. The story being peddled is that the Muslims of CAR bought this upon themselves and that time began just a year or two ago when Seleka forces ravaged the Christians and now the Anti Balaka are delivering a revenge blow.

When the story is dissected further what emerges is a far more complex picture. Reading into the actual history what we see is that the dividing blow to CAR was delivered by the military strongman Bozize who attacked the predominantly north muslim regions and involved the French in his endeavors.

One of the flash point towns was a predominantly Muslim town called Birao was destroyed by Bozize's onslaughts:

"In Bangui, rebel fighters loot, rape, and carry out summary executions. Birao, a Muslim town in the north, lies abandoned and in ruins, destroyed by flames."
            The article says this earlier:
"Muslims, who mainly reside in the north and make up 15 percent of the population, have long faced discrimination at the hands of the 50 percent Christian majority. That is, until this March."
The Source is the Berkeley Political Review which is reliable

So as we can see, this is a complex back and forth matter, not just some situation were Muslim Seleka raped and ravaged and are now getting their come upance.

            -----------------------------------------

Now regarding Nigeria, I know little about Boko except that the Nigerian Army has routinely committed crimes against civilians accusing them of being Boko and then robbing them.

But when I read this story from the mass media outlets I knew that there had to be more to this then some random people grabbed some random girls and just decided to have anarchy style fun.

This paper provides the evidence of the actual motive that does not appear anarchal, but rather rooted in a concept very similar to what we experience when our qaumoona and kabaeeloona involve themselves in badaal.

So here it is from the Gaurdian, a superb piece on what caused Boko to do this sort of thing in the first place.

Boko Haram leader vowed to retaliate in 2012 after more than 100 family members of militants were detained by authorities. Then the kidnappings began

            Here is the sub-headline:

"Before Boko Haram started routinely kidnapping girls in northern Nigeria, more than 100 relatives of militants were held by authorities. Their leader vowed to retaliate."
            The article details the following:

"Boko Haram's move towards using the kidnapping of women as a tactic appears to have come hand-in-hand with a similar strategy deployed by the Nigerian authorities. From December 2011, the Nigerian police began to detain the wives and children of militants leaders – possibly to put pressure on the group, possibly to bring about negotiations.

Whatever the reasons, from 2011 to 2012 more than 100 Boko Haram family members were arrested, with no evidence to suggest they had any part in Boko Haram’s crimes. Among them were relatives of Boko Haram’s leader, Abubakar Shekau.
What this means Tiger Khan is that you need to deepen your knowledge well and understand an issue from every angle if you want people to make blanket statements about that issue to accept or condemn it. Otherwise, a few mass media reports about any group today, from Putin's troops to insurgent groups to the situation in Odessa to the situation in Nigeria don't warrant any attention at all in my opinion since the filtering lens repeatedly puts a spin on these issues that suits whoever owns the network.

That being said, the various reports of the atrocities coming out from Amnesty International about both Nigerian forces and Boko (and in CAR Seleka and Anti Balaka) only warrant condemnation of every side of the conflict.

During many years the corrupted government robbed Nigeria. Nigerian people live in poverty. Officials grow rich. This group ("Boko Haram") wants changes and justice in Nigeria. Nigeria a country is rich in natural minerals, largest in Africa exporter of oil. Creation of just islamic government in Nigeria will allow justly to distribute acuestss from the export of natural resources and overcome poverty.

'Muslim leaders' who are the Muslim leaders who appoints them as one?. One second a mullah is just a nobody with a beard and you don't listen to what they say, but when crimes happen and your looking for people to blame then all of a sudden mullahs become leaders and are responsible. Make your mind up.

So how do we know this story isn't a forgery by the Nigerian government to help them destroy their adversaries? Just like what happened in Mali.

This seems like a chess move

                    Edit:

Just because some random group releases a video doesn't validate anything. A smart leader can manipulate their audiences, for better or worse. Don't forget that

I think we should look inwards before we look outwards.. this has harmed muslims a lot in recent time.. because we always blame others for our faults.. I don't care what others say.. I believe.. 911 was carried out by terrorists who were calling themselves muslims...
Muslims should find ways to ensure waste management .. in this case.. its Boko Haram

Fine we only use them when we need them.. I will give you that,,,, But they should do their job.. even if they are not encouraged .. and eventually ppl will start listening to them in other aspects aswell..
Maybe this is the reason why we do not give weight to the mullah.. because they only use their vocal cords.. when someone steps on their tails..
