^^ well yes because rejecting one thing or all of it is more or less the same thing, because if we accept one part and reject another, then that kind of misses the point.

I don't like to call anyone a kafir. I have done it in the past and it is not a good feeling.Originally posted by naziaWe should never declare someone as kaffir because there views are not similar. Its wrong we should be tolerant right MeemWawMeemNoon?
I love to hear different interpretations of the Quran. I have so much respect for the Quran that it always intrigues me to hear what others have to say--even if they are wrong--as long as they interpret it in a sincere manner. If sincerity is involved then it makes the conversation easy. Otherwise, it would be a heated conversation that will not bear fruit.
The thing that has drawn me to Ahmadiyyat is the fact that Hadhrat Isa (as) is passed away. Otherwise, I would not have given Ahmadiyyat the time in day. To this day, no one has proven otherwise. I talk to scholars who are not Ahmadi. They just say you don't understand, but it is clear he is alive. How so, I ask, when it is written that Allah has given him tawaffa, death? They say to go and learn Arabic. I tell them I know Arabic. They say, so do the scholars of Shias.

Zakir Naik is not an authority. He never has been. He has many flaws in his understanding of Islam. The Ahl Sunnah of India even declared him a kafir based on their understanding of where Zakir Naik has flaws.
That is why one must go back to the Quran and not follow scholars blindly. This is what the Quran warns against--following scholars blindly. Why do you think the Jews and Christians won't accept Islam? Because they follow their scholars. Those of them that do it is because they don't follow their scholars.Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

I agree naik isn't an authority. However the issue of mirza being accepted as a prophet is a large one because the prophet warned us that people after him will claim prophethood and that he was the seal. If we were to accept what mirza's claims then we would be rejecting the prophet's claim.
