I am sorry to say this faye, but lately you are acting as a extremist puppet. Please see for yourself who started defending this cruel sentencing and finding excuses as usual to support the saudi system. Even though I almost never agree with Tormana on anything, he said no anti wahabhi, anti arab or anti Islam thing in his first post. I dont really care what he means with opening this thread, but lets please not tell a blunt lie

also anti wahabhi is not really against a person or people, its against the wahabhi extremist ideology, i dont care if the person is saudi or pakistani. I have no intention to single out gulf arabs and be racist against them on individual level. It's just that we all know the situation and system in the gulf countries is so messed up, especially saudi arabia, wahabhi ideology shares a lot of blame for that

      Hey Crotch-E

Man up or shut up. Point out where the sentence was defended for discerning readers.

View Toramana's second or third post where he clearly delineates his issue lies with the Quran in response to the citation of the verse I gave. He then goes on to say that none of us here have the credentialing to oppose the Saudi "scholar" interpration.

You are the biggest extremist of all - an extremist sacrificing intelligent and rational thought at the alter of stupidity.

And were I a salafist or a wahabbist you wouldn't see me commenting on the right of Tablighis to do as they wish. But a moron like you who has a gnat sized pea brain reads emotional hit pieces and remembers his exxon mobile childhood all too well, taking it out on any truth teller that contradicts your world view.

I personally could care less if Toramana or whoever else has a racial or ideological agenda against Arabs or Islam. Arabs can handle themselves and Islam isn't going anywhere.

The focus is the girl whose life was destroyed and that no one who rules that country is concerned about levying justice for her case. It's as if to them she didn't matter and that she almost deserved what she got.

The protests in KSA are a wonderful sign that the social consciousness of the population is changing for the better.

Karachi may have lived in Saudi Arabia but given the Saudi history of institutionally sanctioned abuse against South Asians living there; it would have been very unwise for him to protest, not just for his own sake, but for his family's. So let's drop these childish retorts against him. He wasn't even a citizen in KSA, he could have very little effect there.]

Muslims should very much be concerned at the abuse and botching of justice occurring under the guise of Islam as this affects all of us. We don't need "reforms" we need a restoration to the true and honest principles

If so and so barks about Arabs and Islam; let them do it; that doesn't change the need to seek justice for a young girl murdered and tortured for nothing more than zealous rage and the judicial system that let him get away with it

that picture could very easily be depicting a Sufi too. If you ever go to a Khanqah, Sufis are doing dhikr on their musbah (tasbeh)

By the way I find it extremely distasteful of you to proclaim yourself a Sufi when you don't actually understand what being a Sufi entails.

are you that dumb that I need to explain extremism to you? again something is wrong with you over the last few months, some loose screws in the head. here you are defending a guy who every time brings excuses for the crimes committed by the Saudi state. Even such a hideous murder of the poor girl

which is a total irrelevant shift from what we should really b worried about; the gross display of injustice allowing a child murderer to walk free with a slap on the wrist.

                      I will clarify my view

Regular Saudis being hateful to others and arrogant is actually the least of my concerns, they are what they are because that is how they were raised, hopefully they will change in the future as more and more get educated.

My real problem with saudi arabia is the state + wahabhi/salafi ideology

This is what my argument with Barkzai is about. People who defend this system, especially living outside, are part of the problem. God knows what makes them defend a system which is clearly inclined towards the corrupt government/royals of Saudi Arabia. Everybody knows that the Royals and Wahhabi are basically one, the whole state of Saudi Arabia was founded when these two were united. Any muslim defending the wahabis is basically defending the Royals, who are known western puppets. Also is wahabhism really an Islamic system? look at how ridiculous sentences they always seem to pass. I mean any sane person will see that this system is corrupt and is actually going against Islam, yet why are people like Barakzai so defensive about it?

I mean I wont have a problem with him if he criticizes the saudi system, just like he criticizes everything in the west. If he has balance in his criticism, he would sound more sane

it's not what people say it's what peiople do; gettig all up in arms about people disrespecting the Qur'an and its teachings when a 5 year old girl's life was lost and then the murderer given reprieve is a bit absurd don't you think? I'd say the young girl's life is more important than the Qur'an.

Of course you wouldn't comprehend this since you're a bitter aging prune with mentally deranged delusions of spiritual escapades and probably think those are more significant.
