If you're talking about my background. I only embraced Mu'tazilah thinking after research and study so back then I had no idea what Mu'tazilah was, I was merely told stuff similar to what Afghanistan2010 was taught (note I said similar not same). My father however told me not to take that stuff too seriously because these were "just opinions" in his view and that I should always question even what a Mullah says. In time I started to find the Mu'tazilah teachings as they themselves conceptualized it, not the slander and misrepresentations that individuals like afghanistan2010 give to it. I saw it made more sense, not merely blindly following something, but being analytical.I'm only the beginning of a new revolution, Mu'tazilah is a revivalism of something dormant.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
I am talking about "reason and logic." where were they during the time of need. What happens to reason and logic during war. Why does it disappear.
Why is America full of reason and logic, are you guys running the show in America?

I made an educated assumption based on your psychology; generally Taliban supporters in the west come from background which is heavily influenced by drug/rap culture, and these same individuals collect welfare very often too. I would have even said you smoke/use drugs, but I didn't want to be too aggravating. reason and logic were repressed from us by individuals like the Taliban, the so called scholars who were patronizing them, they wanted us to hate learning and only follow things blindly, they tried to make us scared of reason and logic saying that these things lead to Shaitan and that only what they say is holy and sacred. So we stopped relying them. Eventually men like myself realized these were lies and it was just a tool that Taliban-types (notice I am not necessarily saying Taliban themselves exclusively) used to control the minds of others and the information they received.
Reason and Logic are tools, it's up to people to use them, Is it running the show in America? No, but that's because people do not want to apply it.Last edited by RevolutionThroughReason; 07-17-2012, 04:10 PM.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
That's not an educated guess since you know close to nothing about me.Originally posted by RevolutionThroughReason View PostI made an educated assumption based on your psychology; generally Taliban supporters in the west come from background which is heavily influenced by drug/rap culture, and these same individuals collect welfare very often too. so what your saying is that a bunch of nitwits with limited or no education beat you guys with gigantic brains and PHDs in winning over the population. How could they(with no "reason and logic") beat you guys(with reason and logic).
What happened to you guys, did you guys fall asleep or are you guys just incompetent.

The reason and logic that you are talking about is limited only to talks, practically it can be applied only in science but it can not be applied into religious matters because religion is neither mathematics nor science where you apply and explore knowledge on and from matter. but religion is a set of beliefs in unseen, prime goal to establish a welfare Islamic state through some specified and unspecified laws, ethics, politics and so on.Originally posted by RevolutionThroughReason View PostI made an educated assumption based on your psychology; generally Taliban supporters in the west come from background which is heavily influenced by drug/rap culture, and these same individuals collect welfare very often too. That's a very educated guess, I know stuff about you from your pattern of posts and things you claim of yourself, your geographic whereabouts, your sympathies.
Here is your commentary where you try to justify rap music as apart of Afghan culture, just because tappa aw landay have rhythm.
LOLOriginally posted by khushal View Postactually rap just means to talk in rhythem, so in reality lughat is rap.
No, that's not what I am saying at all, what I am saying is that Manipulative people used False representation of religion; to keep people dumbed down, through things like the Taliban, to prevent them from acquiring better intellect, because that would lead to their loss of power.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
Actually you can apply logic in religion; because it's the way of thinking. If religion is supposed to help improve people, it has to be applied in a way to improve people, not harm them. If something causes harm it cannot be useful. Now in real world we see somethings are more useful than others or more harmful, it happens in varying degrees. So we apply which produces the most benefit and least harm. This is logic, i f it beneficial then it's useful. Likewise A State is a real life construct, which infuences how things operate in the physical world; these are not "unseen" but "seen". Therefore how religion is used depends on logic and reason because religion pertains to the seen. The beliefs in the unseen is just something Philosphers discuss, which can also have logic/reason applied, but it is more analytical and speculative, in that it is based on more abstract hypothesis.
But logic in religion is always necessary, that is why you have Qiyas in Islam, to use logic.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
