he is a scholar.... he had wrong views and he had correct views.... there is no order for us to follow him... we can disregard him or follow him

No scholars opinion is valid unless it agrees with the Quran. Get over it.

Abu hanifa is not promised paradise. he could be in hellfire. We do not know.

And this also applies to the rest of the scholars and people in general.

If the fate of a person is not known. it is even more illogical to blindly follow him/her.

to late if you forbit that now would be that a scandal like the bombing of the bamyian statur
kandahar has also shrines even there the taliban cant stop this.
i dont care about stuff like that,i mean we have churches in peshawar who cares.
iam still a hanifi Muslim pashtun pray 5 times a day, i respect the sufis ,i have little probs with shias and christians in their way of religion understanding but i accept them.

Imam Birgivi (rahimuhullah) on page 19 wrote:
"Scholars of all madhabs agreed upon opinion that it's prohibited to build mosques over graves, and pray towards them (in other edition "pray in them")".//



On page 41 he wrote:
"..because all scholars said that it's /bida/ to make journey for the purpose of visiting graves of pious people or (graves of) prophets. The prophet of Allah (sallalahu alayhi wa ala alihi wa salam) didn't gave such order, and no one from scholars assumed that as something good. Whoever would believe that such act (journey in purpose of visiting graves) is something that take him clother (to Allah), or it's obedience, such person contrary to /ijma/ of ummah".


On page 80 he said:
"It's obligatory to demolish tombs that were build upon graves".

On page 82 he said:
"All scholars agreed that it's prohibited to kiss any other stone except /hajarul-aswad/".

denouncing falsehood does not imply attacking and killing anyone who believes in falsehood.

First of all I would check with my local imam and if he is not qualified as is the case in most places, I would ask a well known and authoratitave source on what hanafi madhab says about a particular issue. If the majority of the hanafi scholars agree on a position then I would have to accept it.
