why have i been studying the hadiths in the qu'ran? why do i completely disapprove of the wars against iraq and afghanistan? why do i want afghans to be in control of their own country? why would i love to return to see my muslim friends in sabah, borneo? why do i want to go to morocco and see the muslim architecture in spain? if i am anti muslim?
i am against people oppressing others by fear, no matter who they are or what religion they are.
sure i have some ding dongs on here but don't make false accusations and misinterpret meanings in my comments.
your thanks say much more than words....it is if bush declares war on al qaeda in iraq ( while there is no alqaeda in iraq) and you applaud it.High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

the only people who are converting to islam are in societies where the shariah law isn't necessarily implied. how many enthusiastic practicing muslims do we have in a society where strict sharia laws are implied? how many of them abandon islam when they get the opportunity of doing so? WHO/WHAT IS TO BE BLAME FOR THIS?
if our mothers can't nurse us back to health, we need doctors. that doesn't make them any less important in our lives.
are you saying that secularism, which i classify as a religion, hasn't been forced on any populace in the world?
shariah hasn't failed, muslims did. this isn't just some observation in order to save face because i am a muslim but because muslims have in fact failed shariah. from murders, dictatorships, lying, stealing, cheating, hypocrisy. muslims failed the ideal, not the other way around. the natural order has a way of weeding out those unworthy of ruling, and so its been the muslims for the last couple hundred years on earth. perhaps it will change, maybe not, but at least we have something to strive for.
secularism is easy, there is no clear defined laws. its make it up as you go along, but leave any religious ideology out of it. i wouldn't say secularism has failed in any inherently secular country, its on a roll. its easy, thats why its popular.Last edited by randolph85; 03-11-2012, 10:57 PM.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

its popular because it works. because when you take religion out of politics, there is no morality police. there is no concept of according to my beliefs you are wrongOriginally posted by randolph85 View Postare you saying that secularism, which i classify as a religion, hasn't been forced on any populace in the world?

religion belongs in peoples homes, thats it. because every god damn person has their own religious interpretation, you will never find a religious consensus
so yes please, if you want your muslims lands bombed, your muslim men martyred and your muslim women widowed, then please by all means keep chasing that sharia mirage

Like i said in the other thread, Muslims need a figure like the Pope, because I agree currently every one has their own interpretations on every single matter, once a pope like figure is established, he would be the final authority on all islamic mattersOriginally posted by Amir al Ghaznavi View Postits popular because it works. because when you take religion out of politics, there is no morality police. there is no concept of according to my beliefs you are wrong

not just khaleefa that rules one part of the muslim world or country, but a leader which all muslims of every school of thought listen too and respect his judgments. I dont think we ever had some one like that after the prophet(pbuh). But it is the urgent need of the hour, because muslims are in a utter chaotic state in every way imaginableOriginally posted by Manzareh View Post^ you mean a khaleefa, the last time we had one was in 1924Last edited by Karachi; 03-12-2012, 07:14 PM.

^ maybe a mahdi but some one who every one listens too, the thing is there is no unity in muslims because there is no central authority, and the funny thing is I dont see any effort from any one to even at least try making some kind of central authority, right now every thing is in chaos and every one is arguing with each other even in small matters, let alone big matters. Muslims have got their priorities totally wrongLast edited by Karachi; 03-12-2012, 08:37 PM.

There is no unity because of those sects "Muslims" have created over time; the same mistake Judaism and Christianity has done.Originally posted by Karachi View Post^ maybe a mahdi but some one who every one listens too, the thing is there is no unity in muslims because there is no central authority, and the funny thing is I dont see any effort from any one to even at least try making some kind of central authority, right now every thing is in chaos and every one is arguing with each other even in small matters, let alone big matters. Most Muslims aren't even Muslims anymore. They just follow what their parents have told them (that's not Islam). The modern era is similar to the pre-Islamic days of ignorance: with the Kaaba being a tourist attraction. Muslim lives are worth nothing. Muslims don't even control their lands, it's embarrassing.
