    Shariah is the only choice...
Secularism is the worst ever system for mankind.

Secularism is a system where religion is kicked out of the state matters like politics, judiciary, law enforcement, making foreign policy, making education policy, making economic policies and other social matters and so on.
So it limits the religion to a the corner of a mosque and tells the masses that your religion is only praying, fasting and pilgrimige and your religion should not interfere in the state matters.

Given the choice I would pick a Shariah state without a doubt.
That however is assuming that the law is enforced by righteous men with the only intention to serve Islam and Allah. This however has not been the case for many hundreds of years. What is practiced in Saudi or Iran or Afghanistan is not shariah because those enforcing those laws are not doing it with the right intentions. Shariah supports the rule of law whereby everyone and anyone is equal before the law. This was the case when the Khalif's son was convicted of some crime and his father sanctioned his death (I can't remember the details), but nowadays you see the Saudi royal family with their private parties, with drugs, prostitutes, alcohol and other un-Islamic activities. How can there be justice when these dogs are the ones issuing the sentences?
          ---
To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
          own inclinations and desires
          .

Other than punishment and crime, I don't think the rule of law is that compatible with Shariah.

Punishment and crime is what I was referring to.

Def: That individuals, persons and government shall submit to, obey and be regulated by law, and not arbitrary action by an individual or a group of individuals.

Shariah dictates to us laws concerning crime, politics, economics, sexuality, hygiene, diet, prayer and fasting. Is everyone not held accountable to the law when violating these principles?

unfortunately both are mutually exclusive. if you go for secularism, then the over educated bureaucratics retrograde islamic values. if you go for sharia then poorly educated mulla's/matawa's ruin humanity.
life and real world isn't black and white, but i will stick with sharia and live by rules of allah(ST)

One of Allah's names is al Hakim. The hukm/ the ruling of Allah is in every aspect of our life.

Who-ever rejects this aspect of belief in Allah's lordship becomes an apostate.

So being in favor of secular state is kufr akbar. Which means that this preference puts one out of the fold of Islam.

So anyone who says that he or she prefers secular state, this person is in fact a murtad. And such a person can even become waajibul qatal.

this is why the Islamic world is such a rape victim. this is why our societies are so useless and garbage. you keep thinking this way, while your Islamic society keeps gettin punked.

but then again, this world doesnt matter right, its the hereafter that does? People for whom this world is not a priority should not exist in this world, since they make no contributions to it.

i declare you worthy of being killed, not because im an insecure emotional woman who doesnt like a disagreeable opinion, but because your existence on earth is so very unnecessary

let me know when you guys are ready to do something about your resources being stolen, your people killed, your identities destroyed and your women molested. as long as archaic thinking is still promoted, ill know yall are not ready/

No doubt an Islamic system shows you the best social system, the best economic system, the best judicial system, the best political and diplomatic system. In a secular system you become a slave of the materialistic world. Your ultimate goal is to earn happiness by ANY means, there is no restriction in a secular system means it makes you animal. It burns your soul and the thought you are a slave of Allah and one day you have to meet Allah.
Come to England and see the real picture of secularism.

I believe that Shariah would be best if it wasn't as strictly enforced as it is in some countries like Saudi Arabia or Iran, but too much freedom would also destroy us. So to sum up, I can't answer you.
those goverment arent the right ex of the real Shariah
