So what can be said here is "God intervened on the other mechanisms of the universe", according to the Qur'an
    Is that your interpretation too.

That God intervened in the natural laws of the universe to impregnate maryam with a matching set of chromosomes, breaking his own natural laws.

The Y chromosome of isa came from one of two places. Another man (like the rest of us) or from the fairy tales of Arabian nights and other such tales. Why create a convoluted paradigm of God, creating a special Y chromosome, combining it with another 22 to create a matching set for maryam, than forming a zygote of the two. If we go on counting, at least a 100 thousand laws of physics, biology and the known world will have to be broken to accommodate this hypothesis.

What if we did this in other situations. We are in an uncomfortable situation (like with an impregnated noble lady) and you need a speedy solution to diffuse the situation (concoct a lie). Well harry down the road or any of the other 3 billion men in the world in about ten seconds could provide with a set of perfectly halved chromosomes with the Y in them but we will ignore these three billion inconvenient answers and stick to our pious line and create an imaginary creature who will then brake a million laws of nature but get the deed done.

Hopefully one does not get stuck too many times, the lies we will have to create to get out of mundane irrelevant bull**** and the subsequent baggage - Lord have mercy.

      .
that doesn't make sense; you can't "break" your own laws, when you make the Laws. a power like that can "intervene" , of course that is taking this hypothesis to be true. I believe God can fully create stuff ex-nihilo, but the fact is, we aren't that "stuff"

furthermore your contention here is also somewhat of a false dichotomy; giving an answer which is consistent with Islamic Theology, is not "concocting" a lie.

Exactly it makes absolutely no sense. As far as your assumption that an entity can work outside the laws of nature and manifest their actions in the universe is absolutely absurd and in by itself this statement is a complete negation of all the laws of nature. Remember if even one molecule behaves outside the laws of nature than that is not a law of nature-right.

For the running debate on immaculate conception, Lets run this experiment to see how absurd the whole premise is.
a girl becomes pregnant. We dont like the uncomfortable truth that one of the 3 plus billion men in the world is responsible for it is not a politically and culturally permissible thing to admit to. So we need a way out.
Lets start by breaking the laws of nature.
We have an hereto unidentified physical force create from scratch 23 chromosome to combine with the 23 already in the girl. We know that atleast the Y needs to be created as the rest could all be from the mother. So create one or 23 the laws needed to break are about the same:
spontaneous creation of matter in a highly complex molecular form. Once formed outside the realm of physics this creations confirms to all known laws from that point on. None of such has ever been observed even on a tiny tiny scale(one molecule) , in any lab under any condition but we dont care.
This is inserted inside the women through teleportation (major breakage of natural laws). For biology laws well I dont have enough time to narrate them.

                o and nice thread

the dumb thing i find about them is they claim they dont believe in the unseen yet they do believe in the unseen there are many things in this life that are unseen yet you still believe it yet you deny the rest

i just love what abu hanaifa(ra) was said

Abu Hanifah said before the debate (interpretation the dialogue), "I want to tell you about a story. " They said, "What??" He said, "A ship in dijlah river came to shore with no captain and carried the equipment from the first shore and took it by itself to the other shore days and days away then it took its merchandise off with no captain." They said, "It is impossible, no one can believe this. A ship with no captain cannot do all that. No way." Abu Hanifah said, "If that's impossible in one ship how can u say this about the universe runs without a sustainer - Allah?" They were stunned and the debate ended before it started.

Your quandry arises because of a misunderstanding of the terminology. You feel Law is like some sort of legislative process in which a King dictates the Laws and thus would be in theory by bound to abide by them. which is not analagous to a Supreme Conscious Being or Higher Absolute Reality and the things it engenders.

In Scientific Terminology; a "Law" is a universally consistent operation or rule which attempts at describing a phenomon, and has been rigorously verified. In So much as the properties contained with the universe themselves are they are immutable. Now if we follow a God hypothesis, a power such as that can theoretically, amend, temporarily disable or selectively disable such laws, because it has the capacity to allocate and retract such laws. Similarly it could not be "bound" by such Laws since such Laws are under it's discretion. So such things do not "contradict" science, they're simply outside the realm of science and secondly there is nothing within science that the same power that can allocate such properties cannot mute them at whatever interval, but that the physical entities that depend on these forces cannot mute the.

Mathematically, if you ever get into some familiarity with Quantum Electro Dynamics, Feynmann discerned that at different scales of magnitude, certain forces break down and thus certain Laws break down too. Is this necessarily analagous to this? No, but it shows that what we think of as Laws are not completely immutable.
