      Khyaal Lala,

Now if I say certain things then I get branded as Persianised and some one who is against Pashtun unity and my true Pashtun bretherns to the east. Why can't we accpet thigs as it is. No matter how bad Pakis treat these abused souls -- Pathans --it is still the fault of this or that Amir and when it comes to talking big they will be the ones to have their chests out and brag about being we Pukhtoons this or that.

Ma kho walaka woosa poorey yaw naar ledaley wee che pa maidaan warta wodareejee. All these people are good at is t bring Afghanistan's Pashtuns down to their level without realising the magnitudes of our struggles on every front. So what if some Pashtuns speak in Farsi in a speech, after all we have a responsibility towards others too.. we are not doing it at the cost of Pashtuns - Afghanistan is everything a Pashtun can dream for - it is not perfect but it will be inshallah.

This is totally false. Just paste here a scanned copy of the text where you claim that afghan history is taught in educational institutions.
So you think this to be equivalent to teaching afghan history? So why Pakistan willfully accepted to be the successor of that imperialistic policy whereas they celeberate their own creation (which they falsely call ) day as their indpendence day? Why no independence for Pashtuns who unlike Punjab (the British servants) fought against the British colonialists? Why did Pakistan, knowing well the status and history of Durand line, choose to continue control over Afghan land which is in fact a colonial legacy? LOL. This is a great tactic for confusing wrong with the right. What, btw, is this persian minority? They are indigenous people of the land who have suffered as much as any other group. Besides, they have been living on this land for thousands of years.

Only Punjab is the colonizer, the status you yourself have accepted to be the successor of the British and their colonized land.
Please give me a break. Even you who have benefited from Pakistani institutions can't be that blind to simple historical facts. Afghan history is the over all subject of Muslim history that is thought in Pakistan when it comes to lamenting its status as an Islamic fortress. Many Pakistanis proudly claim that their great great grandfather was Afghan.

Punjab wouldn't be colonizing us if it wasn't for the treasonous amir who sold majority of the Pukhtoons in to bondage. You can't get back your son or daughter if you rented them for 10 days, we are speaking of 100 years here.

Try looking at their birth certificates.

Are Pashtuns taught about the great Bacha Khan?
Not much, because Pakistan considered Baacha Khan a separatist. But I'm not cheer leading for Pakistan here either.

I am not singling out anyone but I am speaking the truth, Pashtuns are oppressed and Pashto is deprived of its rightful rights. Unity can only be achieved if we acknowledge the mere facts, facts that Pashtuns in Pakistan are subservient to Punjab while Persianization is also on the rise in Afghanistan. No matter what you say about Afghanistan, Pashto enjoys equal status and its the national language. Pashto is taught and constitutionally its protected. Our biggest problem is Pakistan cause that is where a big chunk of my ethnic group resides and that is where Desification is on the rise. The more desification occurs, the less chances we have to unify.
I agree with this. Khoray, all I wanted to say that we can't make gross generalizations. It works to undermine us.

My grand father was part of the Angriz army by day, at night he would target them and hunt them down. Buddy, if it wasn't for those Pathans in Angrez army, we wouldn't have kept them at bay for so long. While Angrezaan were bombarding our villages and towns in areas like Waziristan, the amirs were too busy conspiring against their own siblings.

And you do know that many Afghan amirs had toor makhoona:

They were known as the children of Hindustani mothers, since their fathers had married a few Bharati naaris.

Hahaha Wrayun is hurt I called his Panji masters too makhy. Iron Amir was pure blue-blooded Pashtun. He is not a tormakhy, in fact he has 100% Pashtun features. Wazir and Maseed's case is differnt. They never served in Angriz army. Thanks for admitting that. You didn't do jack.. till this day...

For many Pukhtoons it says Afghan as ethnicity on their birth certificate. This is just in reference to what you said about telling them of their ethnicity.

I have taught in Chiniot Islamia school and college. Its right in the heart of Karachi. I have yet to see anything in the school curriculum taught to these students that is pro-Afghanistan. This was a "prestigious" school of Karachi in which getting admitted was not easy. All the Pashtuns here were brainwashed about Jinnah and how he was the best man in the planet.
Why would they teach pro-Afghanistan? I said they teach Afghan history, but even then it is used to promote Pakistaniyat. Please refer to my original statement.

And what do we Pashtuns consider him? A leader right? Do you see how we are at odds already?
Who Jinnah? Jinnah was the founding father of Pakistan, and he is a leader to Pakistanis but not to me. The founding father of my nation was Mirwais, everyone else followed him.

@Wrayun! Let me ask you a simple question.

When Bengalis with 56% majority (Punjabis being 24%) were subservient to Punjab then what was so special about pashtuns?

What drastic change could you cite after the division of Pakistan in 1971 which empowered pashtun to the status of equality as per your claim?

For example they have named their missiles after Afghan leaders Ghouri/Abdali/Ghaznavi etc. Their language Urdu (a mixture of Farsi/Hindi/Arabic) is credited to Afghans as well. Founding fathers like Alama Iqbal poetry is full of praises for Afghans.

You must realize that the state of Pukhtoons of Pakistan is the direct result of the Afghan state policy during the British era when Afghan amir signed the Durand line treaty into effect. So to single out Pukhtoons of Pakistan as the sole culprit here is incorrect. You have to take everything in consideration, and without any bias. If you don't then no unity is possible because hypocrisy can't be tolerated by anyone.

To call Pukhtoons of Pakistan subservient is an insult. Where in Afghanistan the majority has become subservient to a minority of Persians. The army, the statehood, the leadership, the institutions, are hijacked by a minority including the national leaders who have to speak in the language of the minority because his own mother tongue is too offending.
                              Wrayon,

The key to pahstun unity lies in Pakistan not in Afghanistan. The Panjabis realize this and is doing everything in their power to prevent this unity from happening. They are inviting the arabs to the pashtun heartland to brainwash the tribes into beleiveing against pashtun identity and traditions and to beleive in pan arab ideas of liberating palistine. They are brainwashing them into forgeting their own culture and embrace some arab tradtions and cultural values. It is the panjabis that have been inviting them from the early 80s, and creating divisions within the majahadeen groups.

It was the panjabis that created the situation that afghanistan is in currently. Ali Jinnah was a british servant and whose idealogy did nothing but weakened the muslims. Pakistan is the biggest threat to pashtun unity and to muslim untity
