Doesn't mean Pakistan is a stable state. Iranian leader Rouhani came to Pakistan to discuss economic projects and the potential for corporation between the two countries and as always General Sharif ruined that for us. He approached Fereydoun Rouhani and told him that the Indian companies working to invest in Chabahar are RAW agents, to which the Iranian leader laughed and said 'I'm not coming back here'.

People who approach Pakistan are the likes of Saudi Arabia, Gulf countries or as you mentioned Turkey and Nigeria who want our military grade weapons. No one else will ever invest and as far as CPEC goes. It's only a matter of time before India seriously starts funding the BLA to blow up every new pipeline that gets built. China will give up on Pak then.

Anyone who have met Turks in Germany knows they love Pakistanis. I don't know the reason but there is deep love between people of both nations. Muslims in general love Pakistanis in europe but Turks go step further to prove it. But friendship with Chinese on personal level is little akward, many times they don't even know what Pakistan is.

That what i was talking about , they tell Turkish people that they are the descendants and spiritual successors of Ghaznavids, Ibaris, Khiljis, Tughlaqs and Mughals. Its cringing. .......Turkish people are of-course flattered by it.

If we go to history, its Pashtun/Afghan not Punjabi or Sindhi people who came into contacts with Ottoman empire and its Oghuz Turkic population, and unlike Desis they were not in awe of Ottomans at all.......Sher Shah Sur had declared himself a caliph (Khalifa) and did not recognize the caliphate claim of Ottomans (which they had acquired in 1517)......earlier Sikander Lodi and Ibrahim Lodi were also calling themselves caliphs.....the Afghan monarchs of India were the only ones to do so, neither Mughals, nor Mahmud Ghaznavi or any Turkic ruler of India declared himself a caliph. Muntakhbul-Tawarikh and Tawarikh-i-Daulat-i-Sher Shahi reveals that Sher Shah sent an ambassador to ottomans, proposing an alliance for the conquest of Persia and its subsequent partitioning between two, as its Safavid monarch had given refuge to Humayun. After two centuries, the Ghilzai kings of Persia displayed the same behaviour and refused to acknowledge the caliphate of Ottomans, resulting in a war between the two. Azad Khan and his Ghilzais later became rulers of Azerbaijan (whose Turkic population is same as that of Anatolia) and became neighbor of Ottoman empire. The Ottomans did not want the Azad Khan and his Afghans to succeed and were cheering for his Persian rivals in the bitter contest that was taking place for throne of Persia.
