  • Turkey loves Pakistan lol

For God sake check this thread out. Its seriously embarrassing the way Pakistanis need to relate themselves to non-indic Muslim races. They seriously believe there is some sort of love among the average Turk toward Pakistan lol

I hate this. Such a silly thing to say. It makes me think that even if the United States and Canada had the best trade agreements, with all their border disputes solved and people to people connection for the next 10 years, they still wouldn't do this. Turkey and Pakistan are world's apart and it's so embarrassing to see Pakistanis suck up to Turkey like this. Turkey is an awesome place. I've been there. It's a role model for the Muslim world.

I don't know if you've seen this yet, but in 2012, one of our Ministers: Chaudhry Nisar, whilst addressing Erdogan, and thanking him for his visit to Pakistan, started complaining about the lack of political unity in the country. It was so awkward.

      lol indeed.

Once upon a time Pakistani government also used to declare their love for the Taliban regime and were one of the only 3 countries to recognize them but on the orders of Uncle Same, for some money, aid and threats of being bombed into stone age, the Pakistani government declared Taliban their enemy and joined the war on terror. I am sure they will do the same to Erdogan when the time comes. These policiticans and corrupt elites are selfish people with no principles.

Having said that, the people of these countries do like each other and get on pretty well.

Turks (of Turkey) dont know shyt about Pakistan. Its not love, its interests, Pakistan is a big country.

Pakistanis give example of contribution of Turks towards Indo-Muslim culture and history when they talk about Turkey-Pakistan friendship but those were central Asian Turks...and even Central Asian Turks have become unrecognizable for Pakistanis due to Russification.

          On that thread, on very first page, this poster is correct ;

          "Written by a Pakistani. haha.
I dont think Turkish people know much about Pakistan or Pakistanis to be honest. There isn't a big shared history so they don't really hear about Pakistan at school, may be only a little in the geography class.

Historically, they didn't have much interaction with Pakistanis either (through the Ottoman Empire or any time earlier).

The current rapprochement with Pakistan comes from the realization that Turkey have no regional allies. Other than political ties there are no common ground between people of Turkey and Pakistan.
The only favourable situation we got is Pakistan is a Muslim country, and they respect Pakistan fot that reason.

I've been to Turkey in the late 90s. I can tell you conclusively that there is definitely a positive feeling of an alliance/brotherhood between the two countries, even among common folk.

I don't know what you're finding so funny, Firdousi... they're not trying to relate themselves to Turkey, they're preserving a valuable alliance. I'd say this is one of the better alliances Pakistan has made.

              Pakis are an embarrassment. Period.

The most schizoid nationality on earth.

Dhobhi ke kutte. Na ghar ke na ghat ke. Bus dum hilate jayenge kisi mai baap ke peeche. Pehle amriki. Fir chini. Randiyon mein bhi unse zyada ghairat hoti hai. Kamse kam chudvate hue pyaar ka natak to nahin karti. Lol

              Cheers, Doc

As Samandri pointed out, the only reason why Turk and Pakis feel close today is because their countries are becoming pariah states. Both are hated countries (to a regional and international level) and both of them support terrorism. "Del be del ra daare"

Never been to Turkey nor to Pakistan but I have been in Germany (there is a huge Turk population in there) and believe it or not most of Turks don't hang out with Pakis. They get along with Arabs and Afghans (with Iranians not so much basically Iranians are annoying). Many cousins of mine are married to Turk girls. Do you know why? Because we look alike, we have common set of values and close history.

There is no brotherhood. The average Turk doesn't give a sh*t about Pakistan.

I'm not trying to insult you but Afghans look nothing like Mediterranean Turks. If Pakistanis and Turk get along with each other, then why are you upset? After all Afghans and Hindus consider each other best of friends. Why is your ass burning my Herati Tajik friend?

As I have pointed out several times, Indians and Afghans are not brothers nor friends. We have just common interests (piss Pakistanis off lol). But the thing is we have more in common with Pakistanis than with Indians.

I am just making fun of your inferiority complex, baiyan.

I don't have anything to feel inferior about. I mean you Afghans are the ones trying to ride Irani kir, but they don't accept you. I'm sorry to say they think of you as inferior cavemen. You guys are best friends with Indians, and I don't have a problem with it.

Being somewhat religious I have no issues with race, but sometimes certain nationalities tend to get on my nerves.

I am a chill and peaceful kind of guy, just like my religion which is Islam.

I truthfully don't need to put other people down to make myself feel better and yeah I am Punjabi as well.

The average Afghan hates to death Iran. Tajiks included. So I don't know what are you talking about. Honestly speaking Afghans are profesional haters: they hate everyone. They even hate each other lol

You see? We share same religion. We have also historical and cultural ties. We should be best buddies. But unfortunately Punjabi and Pashtun fascism have brought to us disgrace, hate and mistrust. As a Persianspeaker i believe Pakistan should represent Persian heritage in India. Too bad you are a terrorist failed state. Thats why I can't respect you, guys.

Turks are the most friendly people to Pakistanis.I believe that we are essentially one country and we just don't share similar religious and political views but cultural aswell

Lot of potential but we got iran in btw

The other most friendly people toward Pakistanis are the indians within India,

                              Hmmm.

Well you see the thing that I don't like about your mentality is that you like to generalize people. Neither Afghanistan nor Pakistan is a terrorist supporting nation.

But I would love to ask you one thing. Since Pakistan is all evil and the problem starter in the region, why the **** was Ahmad Shah Masoood dealing with the ISI and Pakistani military establishment? You see, I find much duplicity among Afghans. If the the PA didn't support the Pashtuns and instead supported the NA we would be in your good books? No?

The only problem is that Pakistan is the home of the largest Pashtun population of the world. We are not terrorists, and Pashtuns in Pakistan are not extremists. It is only in Afghanistan that you people are having these silly disagreements instead of coming together as a nation. Inshallah all of you guys will come together and make your nation strong. The only bad thing is that you invited India, so now we have to be enemies.
