So you share a video of a man talking crap about Pakistan, and it's also a mere co-incidence that this man happens to be an Atheist,ex-Muslim and critic of Islam.

If you agree with what he says about Pakistan, then you also agree with what he wrote in the Satanic verses.

You would ally with an apostate, just because you hate Pakistan.

So the ancestors of modern-day Pakistanis weren't Muslims centuries ago, but yours were?

You do realize that before Afghans became Muslims, they were Hindus and Buddhists, in fact some of the biggest statues of Buddha were in Afghanistan before the Taliban destroyed them, and also many of you Afghans claim descent from a "lost Israeli tribe", so your ancestors were also non-Muslims.

Since Afghans have existed for 5000 years(?), and Islam is only 1400 years old, so for 3600 years your ancestors were NOT Muslims, and to this day, you follow a pre-historic honor code called "Pashtunwali" that pre-dates Islam and many Afghans celebrate Nowroz(a Zoroaster festival).

Many Afghan parents give their children Persian names that are older than Islam, so does that make you apostates?

Next time you call Pakis "fake Muslims" or "Hindus", you should read up about your own history

Rushdie also claims that men and women in Pakistan are "segregated"(which isn't entirely true) but don't most Muslim countries including Afghanistan have gender segregation, and you're more likely to see women outdoors in Karachi than in Kabul.

Rushdie then says that Pakistan has a "drug and gangster-ism" problem, don't most countries, especially India have that.
In fact there is a MUCH bigger drug problem in Afghanistan than in Pakistan, and most of the drugs in Pakistan are smuggled in from Afghanistan, so the irony is, all of the things Rushdie said about Pakistan also apply to Afghanistan!

Muslims believe that all prophets were Muslims. If Afghans are descended from ''lost israeli tribe'', this will mean we were people of the prophets. If you haven't figured it out yet, all that means we were Muslims from the very beginning.
You in the other hand had to taste an Afghan sword before becoming a Muslim. The fact that you still believe Islam is only 1400 year old, can only mean you still got your hindu culture in you.

How is Pashtunwali even relevant for the discussion and what point you want to prove with that? Since you talking about ''Pashtunwali''. Can you explain to us what Pashtunwali is. If not, then I suggest you shouldn't drag something to the discussion if you have no idea what it is.

Are you illiterate?I never said Afghans were non-Muslims, or Pakistanis were better Muslims, my post was in RESPONSE to abassinafghan,.

Did you read what he wrote? He attacked Pakistani Muslims, that's when I responded to him, I by no means meant to imply that Afghans were inferior Muslims, I just used his logic against him.

sry how long are you ex hindu ranjeets from india are muslims?
I swear you are probably the dumbest person on pf?You do realize that Islam was brought to South Asia by Mohammad Bin Qasim, an Arab NOT an Afghan, and NO my ancestor was not Ranjit Singh, I'm not even punjabi, but you're TOOO stupid to even know how diverse Pakistan is.

I find it really funny when Afghans love to call any Pakistani a "Punjabi" even if they aren't, Sikhism is only 400 years old, and Islam came to the subcontinent in 712 AD, almost 900 years before Sikhism existed!

Yes, most Kashmiri Muslims descend from Hindus but our ancestors were a lost Israeli tribe too:

Yes, bani Israel is a tribe mentioned in the Qur'an but they were not Muslims, they Jewish at that time, then they converted to Hinduism or Buddhism after living South Asia for many centuries:

The ancestors of Afghans were Hindus just like the ancestors of Pakistanis,so calling Pakis "Hindus" makes you look stupid because your ancestors weren't Muslim either.

Before the Islamic conquest of Afghanistan communities of various religious and ethnic background lived in the land. South of the Hindu Kush was ruled by the Zunbil and Kabul Shahi rulers. When the Chinese travellers (Faxian, Song Yun, Xuanzang, Wang-hiuon-tso, Huan-Tchao, and Wou-Kong) visited Afghanistan between 399 and 751 AD, they mentioned that Buddhism was practiced in different areas between the Amu Darya (Oxus River) in the north and the Indus River in the south.[1] The land was ruled by the Kushans followed by the Hephthalites during these visits. It is reported that the Hephthalites were fervent followers of medieval Hinduism,[1] and that they worshipped Hindu gods known as Shiva and Vishnu as well as a sun god of their own
The Arabs brought Islam to your ancestors in Afghanistan:
The region around Herat Province became Islamized in 642 AD, during the end of Muslim conquest of Persia. In 653-4 AD, General Abdur Rahman bin Samara arrived from Zaranj to the Zunbil capital Zamindawar with an army of around 6,000 Arab Muslims. The General "broke of a hand of the idol and plucked out the rubies which were its eyes in order to persuade the Marzbān of Sīstān of the god's worthlessness."[18] He explained to the worshippers of the solar deity, "my intention was to show you that this idol can do neither any harm nor good."[2] The people of southern Afghanistan began accepting Islam from this date onward. The Arabs then proceeded to Ghazni and Kabul to persuade the Buddhist Shahi rulers. However, most historians claim that the rulers of Ghazni and Kabul remained non-Muslim. There is no information on the number of converts although the Arabs unsuccessfully continued their missions of invading the land to spread Islam for the next 200 or so years. It was in 870 AD when Ya'qub bin Laith as-Saffar who conquered Afghanistan by establishing Muslim governors throughout the provinces.

The Islamic conquest of Afghanistan (642–870) began in the middle of the 7th century[1] after the Islamic conquest of Persia was completed, when Arab Muslims defeated the Sassanid Empire at the battles of Walaja, al-Qādisiyyah and Nahavand.[2] The Muslim Arabs then began to move towards the lands east of Persia and in 642 captured the city, Herat.[3] By 667, the Afghan area was under invasion by the Arabs but in 683 Kabul revolted and completely routed the invading army which was led by the Governor of Seistan. It was not until 870 that Kabul and the Afghan area was brought under control by the Saffarids.[4] The near-complete conversion of Afghanistan to Islam was during the period of the Ghaznavids in the 10th century, with Kafiristan holding out until the 1890s.
The Arabs brought Islam to Afghanistan

You in the other hand had to taste an Afghan sword before becoming a Muslim.
Nope, Mohammad Bin Qasim brought Islam to South Asia, he was Arab NOT an Afghan, you people tasted an Arab sword before becoming a Muslim.

My people weren't even forcefully converted, we became Muslims by choice:

Suhadeva, last king of the Lohara dynasty, fled Kashmir after Zulju (Dulacha), a Turkic–Mongol chief, lead a savage raid on Kashmir.[50][51] Rinchana, a Tibetan Buddhist refugee in Kashmir, established himself as the ruler after Zulju.[52][50] Rinchana's conversion to Islam is a subject of Kashmiri folklore. He was persuaded to accept Islam by his minster Shah Mir, probably for political reasons. Islam had penetrated into countries outside Kashmir and in absence of the support from Hindus, who were in a majority,[53] Rinchana needed the support of the Kashmiri Muslims.[52] Shah Mir's coup on Rinchana's successor secured Muslim rule and the rule of his dynasty in Kashmir.[53]
In the 14th century, Islam gradually became the dominant religion in Kashmir. Islamic preacher Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani, who is traditionally revered by Hindus as Nund Rishi, combined elements of Kashmir Shaivism with Sufi mysticism in his discourses
The fact that you still believe Islam is only 1400 year old, can only mean you still got your hindu culture in you.
The Islam we know today is 1400 years old , the Holy Qur'an was revealed 1400 years ago and the last Prophet(PBUH) came 1400 years ago, it seems like you don't know much about Islamic history, maybe if you stopped following Zoroaster culture you would learn about Islam.

How is Pashtunwali even relevant for the discussion and what point you want to prove with that? Since you talking about ''Pashtunwali''. Can you explain to us what Pashtunwali is.
Yes, I know what Pashtunwali is, it's an honor code that Pashtuns have followed even before they became Muslim, some aspects of Pashtunwali contradict Islam but despite that many Pashtuns follow and defend Pashtunwali fiercely as if it's a religion.

                            Sounds like shirk to me.

The Islam we know today is 1400 years old , the Holy Qur'an was revealed 1400 years ago and the last Prophet(PBUH) came 1400 years ago, it seems like you don't know much about Islamic history, maybe if you stopped following Zoroaster culture you would learn about Islam.

I don't get it. We can proof to you trough DNA analyses that we are not ASHKANZI JEWS or Semitic jew/arab.

You panjabi share the same DNA as Hindus and other Hindustani ethnicity.

Why are you doing on this forum? GO to pakistani forum. This is PASHTUN FORUM! We are PASHTUNS like our proud/great noble ancestors.

I don't judge my fellow Pashtuns faith, I judge his good character, his goodness, humanity. Because I know in the end, NO HUMAN CAN JUDGE YOU, only Allah, I never trust humans, only Allah, everything that comes from the mouth of a human specially identity confused ones, should be treated with great suspicion.

For a Pashtun the most important thing is that they follow Pashstunwali, because its a free, noble and purely civilized IDENTITY. Pashtunwali is not just a "CODE" it is the backbone of our race and a ticket to heaven as well. Without it, we will be like some British panjabistan, Kuridsh-Turk/Iraq/Syria/Iran, Afro-American, Latino-American, Mongol-Uzbek/Hazara/Kazakh etc etc etc. Because we know their reputation around the world. Pashtuns has no reputation, only propaganda war machine media from the west to fool their people for staying longer in Pashtunistan. Otherwise overall Pashtuns has always minded their OWN BUSINESS, and not going around the world disrespecting others.

The only thing we have left is that we are born Pasthuns and not from some former raped people who lost their civilized ways.

It is true that today many Pashtuns are not the ones they used to be. Bad times indeed, because of lack of education, many parents doesn't even know how to read and teach their children the Pashtun way.

Many children has lost their fathers and mothers, even more difficult and lost they get.

And foreign influenced by many powerful parasites, such as Anglo Saxons, Arabi Wahabis baboons, british panjabis, hindu bollywood culture, many are brainwashed and utterly divided.
