This is false, if you've ever been to Arabic speaking countries there is no Natural understanding of the dialects. Either they understand the dialect because they learned the dialect OR they communicate in Modern Standard Arabic. They're not at this stage a Lingua Franca.

Can you provide a proper, reasoned out explanation on how adopting Arabic will:
    -help to "anesthetize" Islamic extremism?
    -help to "anesthetize" westernization?
-improve the economic condition of the country?
-reduce internal ethnic conflicts within the country?
An understanding of Arabic will prevent people from getting sucked into dodgy claims about religion by being able to understand and go back to the source material and check for themselves.

I never said Anesticize Westernization, but it will anesticize Westoxification , this blind absorption of Western mores. Well it will create a more strongly reinforced cultural lanscape.

Improve economy? Easier and better commerce because language is standardized for international use with regional partnerships.

No More Tajiks or Pashtuns fussing about their languahes being trampled on.

Like I said, I can simply look at the 25 (?) current Arabic speaking countries, which span from Africa to Asia, and see how that is blatantly untrue.
I don't know man, since you've been getting basic information about these places wrong the get go, I'm a bit hesitant to give you credit on your astute insights.

It would be cultural and linguistic hegemony though.
Again look up what a Lingua Franca is. Look it up 10 times if you have to. Read it out loud to yourself if you must. If you still think it's cultural hegemony, then you're either very biased or not very good at understanding things.

I think they should speak Nuristani (mother tongue) and Pashto and/or Persian.
Then I hold by my earlier statement, that you're disingenuous about these protests against cultural hegemony. If you really hold by your reasoning, you'd have argued that Nuristanis should not have to learn Pashto or Farsi. But even you conede that Nuristanis must adopt the Lingua Franca.

Why Pashto and Persian? Because Tajiks and Pashtuns are historically and culturally rooted to the land that we call Afghanistan in addition to being the largest ethnic groups in Afghanistan. So it makes sense that smaller ethnic populations adopt the language of larger ethnic populations for purely practical reasons.
And the Nuirstanis are rooted where? Your argument here is more reflective of Hegemony than having an Arabic lingua franca and just reveals the blatant hypocrisy in your views. At least with Arab lingua Franca, it's not claiming we chose it because they're more dominant. you're basically arguing Nuirstanis should speak farsi or Pashto because of domination. Hypocrisy.

Persians had a battle to Fight off your evil opressive ancestors from exterminating the language and Persian culture....what a sad tragedy IT would be if Iranics were Arabized today and went by an Arab identity like most of Middle East/North Africa...I think this group was too strong culturally to ger Arabized....Persian culture survived despite Arab attempts to exterminate US...if we had become Arabized, pretty sure Pashtuns would be Arab too today...as well as the countless other ethnicities of Afghanistan.
      .

Again. these are utter lies; 5000 Arabs could not oppress millions of people. Lingua Franca has nothing to do with Islamic extremism.

Every anxiety, insecurity and inferiority issue you project is rooted in something completely farcical. Even this statement "Farsi is historical native language"of Afghanistan. The peoples of Afghanistan spoke Parthian, Soghdian, Khwarzemi and such. Farsi was an adopted language. Historically speaking Pashtuns have been more culturally at odds with Persians than wiyth Arabs. There have been more Wars or conflicts with Persians, none have ever been recorded between Pashtuns and Arabs. I don't advocate conflict with Anyone, but if you're trying to argue this Pan-Iranist hypothesis, then you're just going on bogus information and yoiur reasoning is absolutely ridiculous. Look up Mir-Wais Khan Hotak and his conflict with the Persians, he actually went to Arabia to make Alliances to help uproot the Persians in Kandahar.

It's remarks like these that show that you have no cultural links to Afghanistan and know absolitely nothing about Afghanistan.

Arabs did not spread Arabic by the sword, this is confirmed by the fact that Arabic gradually transitioned into a primary spoken language in the MENA over several centuries. It would have been impossible for them to do since modern transportation and weaponry weren't available. Arabs never made any mass exodus of populations. Even When Arab Muslims defeated the Sassanids in Iran, it was done with 5000 men. How could a few thousand Arabs force a population of millions of people by the sword.

On the Other hand ENGLISH did spread by coercion. The Expanse of English was due to the fact that Colonial enterprise was to affix the regions for the palate and interests of the English. This is actually what Imperialism refers to. The Arabs were never a centralized nation, thus had no basis or motive for imperialism. Imperialism has a very specific meaning in Political History Only European Countries and Japan could be correctly called Imperialist. This re-visionist History seems to have be a product of Orientalists and Right Wing Demagogues who want to validate their Hegemony by saying "oh look see everyone else did it too". However, it's historically fallacious, because what Imperialism is and what happened elsewhere are very distinct.

Ibn Haytham isn't "Arabized" he's an Actual Arab., Khwarzemi also was not Arabized, He Spoke Khwarzemi, he just PREFERED to write in Arabic. And this is how Arabic became more widespread, Writers just adopted Arabic because it was more useful for them. And this exactly why we should use it as a lingua franca.

So in short, your resentment isn't something based on so called injustices, but Inferiority complex, misinformation and mental colonization. Get over yourself.
Did they Send bloodshedding armys to conquered the World or not????

They did not exactly arrive to forreigners lands with flowers and gifts....stop lying cameljockey..

So far the only incentive you have given for why non Arabs should adopt Arabic as lingua franca is Western hegemony and Westernization....

These are not good enough arguments...Afghans will not accept Westernization of their society, even if they do learn English for educational purposes...

As for as Western Hegemony, what you purpose is really No different from that. Basically Arab Hegemony instead of a Western. While the Western seems the bigger evil with its toxic societal norms, the Arab Hegemony is worse in other aspects....

Unless you can explain how a few thousand Arabs without the AID of modern tranportation and weapons could coerce millions of people. Your argument has no basis.

As far as I can tell you're not even Afghan, because a.) you came on under KingdomofHeaven bashing Pashtuns, b.) You say things that demonstrate you have no familiarity with Afghan history or culture.

There's no Arab hegemony, stop making stuff up. You're an insecure Persian kid.

Persian nationalists are unbearable. So arrogant that they can't respect other cultures and societies or accept any kind of cultural exchange.

The area that comprises modern-day Afghanistan has been muslim for at leat 1000 years. Yet the Bamiyan Buddhas were intact for the vast majority of that time period and were only harmed fifteen years ago. You're argument that Islam itself is responsible for these kinds of events is baseless.

Then you concede, why should Pashtuns have rife with Arabs when they were on our side when we were embroiled with Persians? Makes no sense. History is history, so these days we shouldn't be embroiled with either. But your cultural closeness angle is nonsense.

Clearly you're NOT Afghan or from Afghanistan, you're the KingdomofHeaven dude, you're typing differently now to make it seem like you're not him. lol

Actually, the Pashtuns didn't exist during those times of Ancient Egypt. But we won't get into that. Your claim is nonsense because back then, to be able to do the things you claim, you'd need some sort of mass policy enforcement, which would require massive man power and very robust institutions. Things outside the scope of even ancient empires. This is why the Persians had satrapies.

The Safawid Persians did IN FACT try to commit cultural genocide on Pashtuns though, this was the reason for the Pashtun Rebellion against the Safawiiyah in the 18th Century.

How do you not know about this but claim you're a proud Afghan? At this stage, I have doubts you're even Persian, your ranting suggests you're this Mentally Colonized Third World immigrant's son that desperately wants acceptance from his White Friends. House slave material.

So you're up in a roar because the Bamiyan Buddhas were destroyed, but want Pan-Persian Nationalism despite Persians and their Intrusions on Pashtuns. The Bamiyan statues aren't even Pashtun legacy, but even at that the claim that they were destroyed" because of Islam, is NOT LOGICALLY Equivalent to saying that Islam ordered them to be destroyed. Furthermore the Taliban who destroyed them claimed they did so due to international hypocrisy. I don't agree either reasoning, but there's no mandate in Islam to do that.

I'm not a Nationalist, but speaking hypothetically, If you were this Proud Pashtun or Afghan you say you are (which obviously you aren't) I'd be more against the Persians than the Arabs, since Persians actually went around killing your people.

                              • As an Afghan-Tajik I must say its so F*CKING annoying to see how so many Tajiks have adopted this stupid Iranian arrogance. Yeah its true that Persian culture and history is rich and sophisticated but that doesn't meant that an ethnically Persian/Tajik is by default superior to people from other ethnicities or that we can't learn stuff from other cultures. So take it easy.

BTW right now there is nothing to be proud of. If you go to Iran most of boys are a bunch of effeminate cowards White wannabes. Women are wh*res. Just visit Imam Reza: hundreds of ladies are willing to do ziqe. Its embarrassing. Iran right now is not a role model at all.
