And your point is ? ofcourse they are with the establishment because the people are with the establishment. Only a few waderas are on RAW pay cheques but nonetheless institutions need to be put in place before autonomy can be given.

Just changing a name of a province cost pakistan a hug chunk of money so it will have to be a well thought out and well mapped process

Yaara this RAW manthra is just for the idiots, we don't believe in this nonsense. Any one who rises for his rights is blamed to be the agent of RAW.

But you know how much money Musharraf spent on Swiss case to prove Benazir and Zardari guilty. After all money has no divine use, it has to be used on the emotional and physical needs of the people. You see many luxurious cars under the control of the bureaucrats and army generals, btw, can't they travel in somewhat cheaper cars just like the indian officials?

This is coming from a guy who calls 100s of soldiers who have given their lives protecting pakistanis in swat and waziristan a frikin drama ? RAW interference in balochistan is a reality, and we would know that because we have been fighting these ****bags for the past sixty years

Corruption in pakistan is a problem, but it is a cancer that spread during Musharraf's era and he will be held liable for it like many others. Kayani stopped all the military infrastructure projects and raised the salaries at infantry level. And taking cars wont solve Pakistans economic crisis, we need stron institutions and able leaders that are willing to root out corruption and who dont look for personal gains at every turn

^ Its called tips ? ever heard of that lol

And still i would call giving a "tip" better than giving my life. And what proof do you have of calling pakistan the most corrupt nation in the world ? read Admin Khan's announcement it says dont just blurt out stuff back it up :p

Here's a list of the most corrupt nations of the world

Afghanistan and Somalia, countries that receive billions of dollars a year in international support, are among the world's most corrupt nations, a watchdog group says.

Somalia and Afghanistan, countries that receive billions of dollars a year in international support, are among the world's most corrupt nations, a watchdog group says.
Transparency International released its annual Corruption Perceptions Index on Tuesday, saying war-ravaged Somalia remains the world's most corrupt country, followed by Afghanistan, Burma, also known as Myanmar, and Sudan.
According to the latest report from the Berlin-based organization, New Zealand is the most principled country, followed by Denmark, Singapore and Sweden.
Canada is tied for eighth place with Australia and Iceland - up one spot from the 2008 survey - while the United States is ranked 19th.
The organization attributed the least corruptible countries' strong performance to their "political stability, long-established conflict of interest regulations and solid, functioning public institutions."
Transparency International's rankings are based on how corrupt a country's government is perceived to be by experts and international institutions like the World Bank and the World Economic Forum.
"The results demonstrate that countries which are perceived as the most corrupt are also those plagued by long-standing conflicts, which have torn their governance infrastructure," the report said.

            @GOPASHTUNGO
Does this sound like a corrupt city to you ? Following are its official sister cities

            @Pakistani

even the worlds most developed cities have that problem ? goto new york, london..ofcourse we have it bad but calling it the most corrupt country in the world ? you have to prove that

Karachi and Chicago to be Sister Cities

Declaring Karachi and Chicago twin cities was something that was being contemplated for a long time and was initiated in 2000, but was not implemented. The proposal to bring Karachi in line with international cities were put forward by President Musharraf during his visit to Chicago Pakistani-Americans are on the staff of several Chicago hospitals as well as other corporations, which is a strong indication of a flourishing and successful group of immigrants.

              Credere Bhai!
I live in Karachi its not how they depict it as trust me everything is bribe. when the police gets bored they pull you over and interrogate you.

Pray for me and my family here.

The Sindhis do not let Afghans(Pashtuns)walk away without paying bribes.
The Afghans(Pashtuns) do not let Sindhis walk away without paying bribes.

The Punjabis on the other hand ask the Afghans(Pashtuns) for help against torture by the MQM and bribe. since Afghans are a HUGE force of Karachi. Karachi depends on Afghans since they have monopolized telecommunications, clothing, restaurants, money lending and etc. almost all clothing markets are owned by them.

when you go to karachi you will understand it is sad for me to type this by the way.

we are talking about corruption standards here karachi, you can have monopolies and still have an effective and robust economy. The point that people are making is that its one of the most corrupt cities in the world? How is that so ? If it were all that Pakistans economy would have been in the drain since long.

We have monopolies and true the police is corrupt but the per capita income of any pakistani is about the same as that of an indian, which is poised to be one of the strongest economies of the world.

That means an averge Pakistani earns the same as an Indian, and india is a huge economy ? How could have that been possible if Corruption was that rampant. Im not arguing against corruption rather the stereotype you guys are propagating

Prove it or this argument is done

I live here bro. Corruption here is RIDICULOUS. Ask anyone in Karachi about rishwat you have not visited there so you have no right to make any comments. Youtube does not even do its justice. You can not walk in the night time without getting robbed bro.

The police will seriously not help if you dont have money.

You can not even get a Passport without paying rishwat.

I even paid rishwat to get a NIC.

Believe me bro. Karachi would be a top city if its was not for rishwat.

^ These are personal sentiments karachi, its the same for everyone and in every country. But that doesnt make karachi the worst, Im pretty sure Bombay is no better but that doesnt make it the most corrupt city in the world.

Anyways i didnt provide youtube facts, i provided sources that are authentic and reputed. if you can provide some it would be nice otherwise the argument that karachi is the worst city in the world has no merit.

In Pakistan the problem of corruption has been multiplied by the absence of rule of law. You can't even complain about the corrupt officials, this will create further problems for you. Official are enjoying absolute powers without any fear of accountability and punishment.

Transparency international generally base its index of corruption in government contracts. It doesn't have statistics for a clerks, constables, patwaris becoming millionaires

Dude, you HAVE been played and you guessed it right, I bet with my eyes closed that only and only Pukhtoons will call this province Pakhtunkhwa and I won't even be surprised that the name holds so much confusion in future that your Government 'feels' to shorten it's name; In other words, only Khyber will be enough. Just wait and watch.

That's exactly what Pukhtoons have been doing since last few decades and that's exactly the reason why we hardly hold any importance to those whom we cared for. Wake up.

And Reshwat-khori nowhere else is popular as it is in Pakistan. You guys can have stats and figures but once you are in that country and STILL you deny Reshwat-khori isn't some people's Imaan there, then there is definitely something wrong with you.

^ Yeah, we are happy you gave us refuge in our own (stolen) land. We are also happy how desperately you wanted to destroy Daud Khan regime and how desperately you interfered with Russians in Afghanistan. And last but definitely not the least, we are VERY happy about the fact you yourself cry your a$$es out because of Taliban in your own country but sent us Taliban like they are our saviours. Thank you my friend, we are lucky to have human-Government like yours as our neighbours!

And if linking Forums doesn't help then first of all tell your fellow Pakistani patriots to stop using Forums to show Afghan attitude towards Pakistanis. Thanks.
