I am primarily a secularist, liberalist, and nationalist (rational home-born self-thought-out prudent secularism/liberalism practiced with pragmatism). Somehow, I have reached the conclusion that these ideals should be pursued for their own sake according to one's objective conditions and not borrowed from others with their political-cultural baggage/agenda or make others "feel comfortable" in their thinking.Originally posted by BarakzaiAbdali View PostI agree. I think Toramana have made a break through. Fascinating what time can do.
Now I have a grudge against two sets of people; the secularist/liberalist imitators/emulators; and the religious extremists who are equally imitators in their ideology with foreign-driven agenda.

I am who i am...but whats your problem becoming so violent? Balochis were used by their sardars...they were not educated thats why they got used. Its the education that matters alot. And for the same reasons...i am telling you in pak pashtuns have many facilities...they are availing.Whats your problem then?Originally posted by Toramana View PostProbably. But it is a nice and practical dream with all the solid grounds of realization instead of the arbitrary grounds on which Pakistan is based. And may be I am day-dreaming but not to the extent that some Pakistani lunatics do by assigning Pakistan the immortality and the eternity one so frequently hears of and considering it to be something holy and divinely---kind of holy Roman Empire to exist forever.
The fact is, it is nothing more than an utterly-failed experiences that has impacted extremely negatively/adversely many inside Pakistan (all except Punjabis) as well as the region.
And so had the British Indian Army which had more Indians than British (with status of mercenaries as some Pathans in Paki Army are). If that is sufficient reason for survival of Pakistan, then why partition British India. Similarly, there are(and were) more Muslims in India---What is then the justification for Pakistan? Existence of diaspora doesn't main the mainland community doesn't have the right or the reason for self-determination.
See above. Besides, Pakistan is far from being a just state....rather is at the abyss of injustice ---ask some Baluchi, please. Jobs in army or ISI doesn't mean the oppressed community stop fighting for self-determination, which are complicated phenomena and involves more complex and broader issues pertaining to the well-being of whole community. Look at Cubic in Canada.
But who are you? I assume you are from Bangla Desh?
Pakistan survived out of british times because pakis have good intentions to help their people...they were not violent and were busy in making country.Look at afghanis.....they are further going towards corruption and immorality. Why dont you go there and help them? Lead them and make them come out of this situation man! they need you more than ever.We are praying for afghanistan's success.Good luck!

I doubt so that you are any of above as you mentioned.Keep grudges...it ll help you in becoming more violent... a quality that you ll excel one day.Originally posted by Toramana View PostI am primarily a secularist, liberalist, and nationalist (rational home-born self-thought-out prudent secularism/liberalism practiced with pragmatism). no, i am serious. some men have male menopuse. you sounds as if you are off balance.Originally posted by Toramana View PostAre you crazy sort of? Why this egoism ---you get angry when you are criticized?
Had you balanced your comment of Paki Pashtuns being targeted with something aimed at reconciliation, you would have sounded genuine. But what you said was mere to provoke kind of.
you came back on the forum with a very aggressive attitude, even criticising afghan grapes in a crappy way.
so how about you finding your damned balance.

I am Afghan Pashtun but belive me, majority of Afghans have also forgoten this day dream of loy Afghanistan, we know that majority of Paki Pashtuns love Pakistan and want to stay there and want nothing from Afghanistan. Its only a few that still thinks that we can unite. So no, Toramana is not giving to us false hoope, Afghans Pashtun have seen how Paki mentality is and how Paki PAshtuns are, they don't even want to bother this issue enymore we have more and sirious problems, than going after peopel who never in the entire history tried to come whith a unity or a solution for our problem......Originally posted by pashtun_rise View PostHere goes again the history thing..toramana you must have visited pak...i think you should know better what majority lar pashtuns think about afghanis...right? Come on dont try to hide reality from afghans.Dont you know that maj pak pashtuns hate afghanis for bringing poverty and destruction to KPK etc?
Why are you giving them false hopes by telling them that lar pashtuns are with them? Why dont you show them the true picture and are misguiding afghanis? No wonder why afghans are so persistent in their loy pashtunistan's concept due to people like you.
I ve never passed a single day in my life when i dont hear them curse afghanis. Why dont you tell them that? Or is it that you always linger on the bullying side and forget the facts?

Brother you are quite realistic...and i appreciate your approach.Originally posted by Khostai View PostI am Afghan Pashtun but belive me, majority of Afghans have also forgoten this day dream of loy Afghanistan, we know that majority of Paki Pashtuns love Pakistan and want to stay there and want nothing from Afghanistan. Now regarding toramana giving you guys hope is like making a cunning step out of humanity to take advantage of a country (pak) who is going through crisis and here he is presenting loy pashtunistan's theory while majority pashtuns dont want to buy this crap. Its pak's internal matter.Pashtuns in pak ....would never believe in the agenda toramana is presenting. He needs to look into people's inner desires....theories cant be imposed on others.
Loving your country afghanistan is the best thing and then trying to struggle for its prosperity you can do man....keep up with your work...who knows afghanistan may appear as a good prosperous country.Only a matter of time.We people need to be educated...coz education brings opportunities. Our best regards with people like you.Last edited by pashtun_rise; 06-28-2012, 05:17 AM.

One point khostai you made quite clear...which i havent thought of before...is that paki pashtuns mentality is not liked by afghans. You are also true to this point. That i also have seen. But believe me...there are people who love both sides...and want both sides to be prospered.Although they are a few...please dont consider toramana among them...those few people are not hate mongers...
We wish you guys our best wishes...i wd also like to thank revo man for bringing the point of indians helping to build afghanistan.I admit i was wrong in that.Afghans have every right to befriend with anyone they want...so long loy pashtunistan's theory is not in their mind disturbing paki pashtuns.

Yes I know, there are peopel who loves both sides, and Paki PAshtun mentality is not bad, I think that Paki Pashtuns are more open to education for females than Afghan PAshtun, so thats a good point. But the thing is that the majority sees Afghanistan as poor and a problematic country, we only schould begin to speak about unification when Afghanistan is stabel and have a normal economie that grows. But I think when Afghanistan would become stabel, the culture would become difrent and the idea of unification would be far off....
Like it happend to the Tajiks and the Uzbacks in Afghanistan, the culture of neigbours is totaly difrent, and those peopel don't really see eachother as one peopel anymore.....
