U r so right brother...exactly thats what i wanna say.I have many afghan friends who are doctors,engrz and in other fields who dont think like i heard here.They love us and we love them.They are contributing alot in afghan women education too...while they studied in pakistan.Sharing cultural values,custome etc.People need to understand that once a nation get educated it gets urbanized and westernized automatically.Then there comes the competition for intelligence and education.

You still have to answer this and explain why your knowledge of Pakhtunkhwa is so limited or is it you have just been brainwashed by the Afghans to believe Pakistan is oppressing you:

I think Luffy pointed out the problems with you westernized people or Austrailized people in your case. They don't know about ground realities as you haven't really lived in those regions. They think oh Pakistan is going to ****... lets make a circle in the sand and call it our land and be done with it. As if it would solve the problems. This is why I dislike people like Toramana who are driven by hatred and cannot think about proper solutions to their problems. By saying Punjabis are in control of education you have made a very Toramana-like comment which has seriously let me down.

As of 2006 Pashto is a compulsory subject in all schools of Pakhtunkhwa. A school that doesn't have it is breaking the law. Till grade 1-10 schools are to teach it as a language. Also a person seeking to further their knowledge in Pashto can take it as an elective in college and university. So someone who you want to label a non-pashtun has more knowledge than you. Surprising huh?

Also want to add something. Punjabi is not taught in schools in Punjab as a language at all. Think about this? Whose culture is being taken from him? The Punjabi's or the Pashtuns? Think critically for a second... is it that you are being brainwashed by your Afghan brethren. Its the same for us patriots... we think huge atrocities are taking place in Kashmir when the ground situation is much better than in the past.

Also I have been the first to speak out against discriminatory law. Start a petition against the FCR and I will be the first to sign it. But as I said its the same problem... not limited to Pashtuns. We aren't concentrating on the right issues. FATA would have gotten the right to vote much earlier had we stood up for the right issues. Pakhtunkhwa would be renamed much earlier if we had stood up for the right issues.

Yes I know, there are peopel who loves both sides, and Paki PAshtun mentality is not bad, I think that Paki Pashtuns are more open to education for females than Afghan PAshtun, so thats a good point. But the thing is that the majority sees Afghanistan as poor and a problematic country, we only schould begin to speak about unification when Afghanistan is stabel and have a normal economie that grows. But I think when Afghanistan would become stabel, the culture would become difrent and the idea of unification would be far off....
Like it happend to the Tajiks and the Uzbacks in Afghanistan, the culture of neigbours is totaly difrent, and those peopel don't really see eachother as one peopel anymore.....
