    Nokia,

    1. you live in a Dari/Farsi-Lala-Land.
The Tajiks of Tajikistan who are named Karimov, Sultanov and Ahmadov are as far away from "Tajik" culture as my cousins in Kurram Agency.

    2. What does "Tajik" mean?

"..."Tājik" is a word of Turko-Mongol origin and means (literally) Non-Turk. "Tajik" in Central Asia is used to refer to peoples that still speak an Iranian language, including both Tajiki-speaking Tajiks, and the Pamiri peoples, also known as Garcha or Mountain Tajiks. The origin of the name Tajik has been embroiled in twentieth-century political disputes about whether Turkic or Iranian peoples were the original inhabitants of Central Asia..."

Why don´t your explore your identity first before you ride the Hallucination Rollercoaster?

    3. The identity of the Afghan minorities is purely based on what Afghans means: compared to Iranians, Usbeks and Tajiks of the surrounding countries, the minorities of Afghanistan are much more closer culturally to Pashtuns.

You can day-dream because your Setami/Parchami ideologues pump you up with fabricated information on Tajikam or Khawaran.net but the ground realities are clear to all of us.

    4. Afghanyat/Pashtunwali is exactly that cultural unifying factor that I spoke about and the linguistic role Pashto has to be implemented, too.

By trying to portray Pashtun identity smaller by attaching yourself to a fabricated identity of Khurassan/Bakhtar-e Buzurg etc. you cannot invent yourself new.
Only Madonna and Paradise Lost can reinvent themselves with every new album, Tajiks aren´t that creative! haha

Even the Farsi in TAjikistan has been Russified and Afghanistan is the last farsiwan standing. You should thank the pashtuns for protecting you and protecting your language. If not for Abdur Rahmans plan to settle pashtuns in NOrthern Afghanistan to protect you from the Ruskies, you would today be speaking and singing in russian and having your women advertising themselves as mail order brides to the highest bidder.

On behalf of the pashtuns, YOUR WELCOME.
I don´t think that you protected anyone. Kuchi nomads were settled in north because of the Uzbeks and colonization not because of Russians who could ride them all. You can not even protect your doors to your home against Panjabis and you claim here to have done anything against Soviets. Not you protected Farsiwans language but they did it by themself and not only that they even turned the entire ruling house to Farsi-speakers. Your description of others (which does not reflects reality) is in fact the description of your own society, the statue of your society in all foreign countries, including Pakistan. That includes your women. Rescue first your own back before claiming to have done anything for others Abdurrahman self was a slave of british and farsiwans. It were Farsiwans who used him against the uzbeks and forced or fooled him to sighn the durand treaty. If you ever protected anyone why can´t you protect yourself from US, Panjabis, Arabs and other killers? Stop smoking black afghanis, my friend lol

Yes, but we must ask ourselves why Afghanistan can produce pashtun leaders such as Amin, Tarikai, Najib, Hekmatyar, Karzai, and even the ones before them that speak better Farsi than their own language and produce Farsiwan leaders such as Masood, Fahim, Khalili, Rabani, Dostom, and others that speak no pashto whatsoever.

It is because we are unable to educate ourselves in pashto becasue we lack literature and pashto based educational institutions, we must learn another language to educate ourselves.

I understand your point, but specially Amin, Taraki and Hekmatyar were more fluent in Pashto. Taraki did actually have that thick Pashto accent when he spoke in Dari.

        The problem is simple:
Pashtuns are way too modest and passive.
If 5 Pashtuns are standing somehwere and a Farsiwan joins them, I have seen them switching to Dari so the Farsiwan understands them.
It´s the Pashtun mentality of non-possessiveness and respect for everyone´s identity.
Pashtuns don´t wanna be ruled and they hate to rule or assimilate others. Being Pashtun has alot to do with your heritage and bloodline so it´s not possible to assimilate people just by teaching them Pashto.

Farsi or Farsi culture that cultural imperialists like NokiaWnW promote is not attached to ones bloodline or ancestors.....a Kurd who leaves his Kurdish roots CAN become a proud Persian/Farsiwan if he speaks the language and attaches himself to that culture.

As I said, Pashto is a way of life attached to a tribal blood line, Farsi is language and culture that can be adopted by anyone.

Thats why Pashtuns who settle among Farsiwans can become uprooted easily after 2-3 generations.
But the assimilation process of non-Pashtuns amongst Pashtuns needs decades or hundreds of years to be completed by marriage etc.

Pashto has this strategic disadvantage but this can be solved by applying Pashto language as an identity-establishing moment in Afghan sociaty.
        The only constant is change.

So, according to your own sources Tajiks are Farsiwans. So why are you crying?

''Afghaniat''/Pashtuniat has even not a place among Pashtuns and had never existed. It was developed by Breshna for nationalist reasons. But as I mentioned, your fake and utopic 4 courners do not reflect reality. In Afghanistan, there are 4 major minorities and these are Psahtuns, Uzbeks, Tajeks and Hazaras. Among them it is said Pashtuns form between 38-42% while majority are non-Pashtuns and that was the image when those ''minorities'' asked, fought and took their rights. You should ask yourself how AFghanistan will looks like after 2014 as US prophecized. You can not compare uneducated from rural areas with the educated elitists of Afghanistan, Hazaras and Tajiks and to some degree the Uzbeks. Today, Pashtuns are the only people who suffer an identity crises, in Afghanistan and Pakistan. What is your solution for both countries. In both countries they days of dictators are gone. In both countries the real power belongs to non-Pashtuns as far I can see and in both countries non-Pashtunic culture, language and state identity is promoted as Afghanistan´s heritage. Tough national anthem is in Pashto, majority of non-Pashtuns do not accept it. Tough the government today is full in the hands of Pashtuns, the real power is the hands of warlords and other politicians. Some regions like the northern Kunduz or Mazar became in the past 6 years even independent and away from political Kabul´s decision. Of course I dream of an own country for Pashayee people. I will not accept any Pashtunization in my country, so, Uzbeks, Hazaras and other nationalities don´t accept it. That´s why they rearmed themself after 09/11 and that´s why they turned all guns toward those who their enemies, at least according to their minds. If I am a ''Setami'' as you claim then because of you since you represent a fascist. However, I do not worry baout that because I know that times changed and so the game. But I fear a Farsisation of Afghanistan and specially of my people. There arfe three Farsispekaing countries and only 1 and a half Pashto-speaking country. And if those minorities are close to Pashtun, why Pashtuns do not share the same culture with them? Those minorities not only differ from Pashtuns by culture and language, but also by faith. Pashtuns are more Wahabits or salafits while those minorities are sunnis, too but belonging to another school. I never have seen any Pashtun celebrating anything that is related with Farsiwans like the current Nouroz festival. To my understanding, Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan are three independent political entities but share one common culture and civilization. Unfortunately, both Iranians and Afghans have mixed politics with culture and history, by creating cultural borders. As Pashtuns are devided, so are Uzbeks, Tajeks, Nuristanis and Balochs. There are Pashto-speakers in Pakistan and Afghanistan, so are Farsi-speakers in Iran, Tajekestan and Afghanistan as today Americans, Britains and Australians are devided or French people, Germans, Indians and Panjabis.

You think only you hate this? Everyone hate this dispite the fact what Koran says about nationalism but it shows your hypocrisy. You don´t like it to be forced to anything (noone force you to speak Urdu or Panjabi or Farsi) so others don´t like it, too. You can see today that even in the most remote regions like Logar´s northern regions minority are arming themself to protect themself from Pashtun nomad infiltrations or Taliban. People know what it means losing their identity. And that is why Afghanistan is devided today. Because fascism from all sides but in my opinion at the end only Pashtuns will lose that ''war'' once again until they don´t have anything, except their naked existence and the sand under their feets. You need to change your mind otherwise tomorrow you will again stand alone against all aggressors, including Pakistan who will make your descendents to Panjabis in the next 70 years. People like you are also a reason why Afghanistan is so devided and everyone hate eachother. Let´s wait what people will decide in future

Even if whole NATO, Shanghai Cooperation Group, Iran, India or even the Martian King Mongo the Magnificant supports sons of water carriers like you, Pashtuns will push you back to where you belong and thats Kulab and Khawaja Bakhaudin.

Only one province had gathered to root you out and that were the so-called Taliban of Kandahar.
This time, buddy, from Waziristan to Chitral and from Quetta to Ghazni....wait for you to establishe the balance of power.

                  Don´t worry.

I don´t support Taliban or Haqqani or whatever, but if you people can unite behind your criminals like Massoud, Fahim and others, it´s time for Pashtuns to do the same.

                  ;-)

Afghanistan's slavehood is rooted in the idea of Afghanistan, when the British and Russians used these region as their proxy ground, they demarcated this region under their respective spheres of influence, The Modern States, as we see, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Iran , China etc. are currently molds of that residual left over. It is this divide and rule, pitting one for against another which keeps Afghanistan and all of Asia enslaved, If Afghans knew better they'd give up their bullish pride as should everyone else, Pakistan, Iran and India included and work together for the greater threat, The Hegemony of Eurocentrism.
