The issue is irrelevant though because in Quetta, Pakistan's Government holds the territory, most people carry Pakistani Passports, and Pakistni governmental institutions administrate there.

You are a Pakistani.....deadl with it.

    Sorry, wikipedia boy,

but you provide nothing else but a Saleh inspired line- a line also touted by those who support the bombardment of Pashtun areas on both sides, and this for you information is not popular sentiment in Afghanistan at all.

No, Quetta is not Pakistan, and nor is FATA and KP. Why because Pakistan allows this area to be attacked by US drones. Hence, they are not protected by Pakistan. Also, Karzai expat donkey also supports the drone attacks against them. Pakistan allows US agents to run around Quetta, and they are onlu restricted because no one there likes foreigners at ALL.

So its very unsafe to walk around there. You would have a very difficult time walking there.

      Ashraf,
Did civilians die in the Kabul attack?
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

        Wikipedia Scimitar,

Since when did Sharia require majority? Also, majority of Afghans want Sharia. Are you even a Muslim?

Secondly, they in fact enjoy considerable and rising support in the East and South, and now even in the North.

People are going to them to resolve disputes.

A rhetorical question deserves a rhetorical answer. Why is the US occupying Afghanistan, and propping up an illegal government? Why is the US-Karzai/Spanta waging a war against Afghanistan with bombs and night raids?

Why have 48 nations joined up together with so many weapons to fight against and bombard Afghanistan?

The answer to your question is it is called asymmetric warfare. This happens when a guerrilla force fights against a technological superior force. This is a factual answer.

This has always been the case in history.

Quetta Suicide Bombing: Taliban Suicide Attack In Pakistan Kills At Least 22 People
              By ABDUL SATTAR, Associated Press

QUETTA, Pakistan — A pair of suicide bombers killed 22 people while targeting a top army officer in southwest Pakistan on Wednesday, missing him and killing his wife, several guards, a senior officer and two children, officials said.

Police said they were investigating whether the strike in the city of Quetta was revenge for the recent arrests there of three top al-Qaida suspects, an operation assisted by the CIA.

Why is Pakistan supporting the US war against Afghanistan?

There should be concern about this, not about Haqqani network, Flinston network, Barney network? Harry Potter Network, Voldemort network., Slytherin netowrk.

                Thats irrelevant.

What is relevant is that Afghans are against the US occupation of their country. They have always been against foreign aggression, and always will be. Nothing will change this.

No propaganda stories designed to deny the Afghans the rights that others in the world enjoy.

The rights of freedom and self-determination are as Afghan as they are Vietnamese.

Civilians died. Its called assymetrical warfare.

BUT, Who do the Afghans blame? The common Afghans blame the US and their expats for all the violence. They say that Afghans would not fight, Taliban or Harry Potter network, if there were no US occupation.

This is the common perception even in Kabul now

. Your future wife supposedly cheated on you, but in fact probably got freaked out by your pedophile tendencies.

I mean Azmal said this. I don't doubt you poured your broken heart out to him.

So, if Azmal said it, it must be true

Not my words... the word of the denizens of Kabul regarding who they hold responsible. That is the key issue... it does not matter whether this view has merits or demerits... rather is simply that this perception exists and that it is real in the Afghan populace:

"Fruit vendors in the city’s relatively safe downtown and students at universities struck a similar tone and added a frequently heard argument: If the Americans leave, then the Taliban will no longer have an excuse to wage war.
“During the Taliban regime there were no suicide attacks, but since these people have shown up in our country, we have faced lots of adversity,” said Nasrullah, a shopkeeper in Kabul’s dilapidated downtown, who like many Afghans uses only one name. “When they leave Afghanistan, the Taliban will stop fighting; it is only because of these foreigners they are fighting.”

                      http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/24/wo...ghanistan.html

All that matters is that the perception on the ground in Afghanistan is very real and predictable.

It would be comparable to if a Chinese Army occupied Alabama... the conservative baptists would rally around religion and fight with any means possible to remove this foreign presence. The locals, were they to be killed in shops and banks by their native Alabaman insurgents would not lay the blame at the feet of their brethren... but rather at the feet of the Chinese who had no place being there in the initial. The same phenomena happened in Vietnam.

so who did they blame massouds rockets on kabul city on when they were fighting against the taliban? who did they blame when hekmatyar and massoud, among others, turned kabul into ****?

barakzai, lets be honest, we can find many different opinions among kabulis regarding this topic. no one opinion is gospel.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

I thanked it but that doesn't mean the Taliban aren't responsible for murdering civilians

stop trying spin doctor everything to to imply something in favor for the Taliban.

I also similarly believe that the Taliban legitimiize U.S. presence

it's Ashraf just copying and pasting Barakzai's words

but here's the twisted underlying message of whatever Barakzai posted , the real reason I thanked the post that Ashraf is now hopping all over for spin doctoring.

"Fruit vendors in the city’s relatively safe downtown and students at universities struck a similar tone and added a frequently heard argument: If the Americans leave, then the Taliban will no longer have an excuse to wage war.
that is from the the SAME article, just one line above in fact. The people see the Taliban's "jihad" as more or less an "excuse". and not a legitimate movement. Not exactly exonerating Taliban of blame.

At least extrapolate from something that proves your fairy tale LOL.

thats stupid. You think that quote tells you people think they don't have legit reasons to fight. The quote pretty much explains why the Taliban fight now. TA DA! The Taliban arose to stop and end the civil war or whatever one terms the chaos. The Afghans (Taliban or local tribe) fight to end the occupation of their country.

The Taliban were a response to the civil war, not part of it. Apparently, you forgot to google up on that.

a person who calls the US occupation legit?? You definitely are a complete fraud.

You are a big retard who accuses others of what you do. You are King SPin Doctor whose standard of truth is a Kabul official and now the US Ambassador to Pakistan. YOU KNOW NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT AFGHANISTAN, KP AND FATA. You sit and google/wikipedia **** 24/7. If you had ANY IDEA about the Pak war against Waziristan, you would have known that many Pashtun soldiers refused to fight. Most of all the soldiers were Punjabi. BUT since you dont know ****, you make **** up....

Thats why no one is interested in either engaging you in your fairy tale fantasy debates.

You don't know anything about Afghanistan or FATA and KP.

The Taliban are gaining ground today because many tribes in full have risen up against the US occupation.

The US occupation legitimizes the Taliban and all Afghan resistance to it. The US occupation also delegitimizes the Kabul expat city government.

no one from South to East cares about what you or I say. you as an American boy should refrain from supporting a US war against Afghanistan, and refrain from criticizing those back there . you dont care about Afghans who have died, so you don't understand why all tribes have risen up, Popalzai has disowned that dirty karzai..
