I dont know him personally, but I know exactly what he is saying. Listen to his words. He values the autonomy more than anything else just like all the other tribesmen. He has said most tribesmen support the taliban because the taliban have respect for this autonomy.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View PostYou don't even know the guy ......he actually LIVES there sir.
When the tribesmen talk about Islam, they are talking about their freedom. When NATO talks about freedom, they are talking about the rule of law and central authority which in the tribesmen way of life is a contradiction.
He has exposed what I have been saying this whole time.

Exactly Bermal, the haqqanis use tribal conflicts for their own advantage.
This article explains the strategic significance of the Pashtun tribes, and then examines how the Haqqanis has been able to increase its influence in this tribal belt.

.Khushal, your "tribesmen theory" is not completely false, as there is severe ethnic tension in Paktika, especially Bermal and other multi-ethnic districts
Hmmm what he's saying sounds vastly different from this ....I do recall FALSE is the opposite in meaning to TRUTH.
He has said most tribesmen support the taliban because the taliban have respect for this autonomy.

What are you talking about. I am not an Taliban apologist. I dont agree with them.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View PostTaliban apologists debunked by a local
Allah Akbar
My theory of conflict in Afghanistan has more to do with the independent nature of the tribes which makes sense to this local.
Your theory is Paki enslavement which does not make sense to anyone.

Its fact, many rural pashtuns agree with the taliban.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View PostBut you said that the rural people support the Taliban this shows that entirely true; which makes you whole statement false.

I never said all.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View Postmany is not ALL though, you were implying it is a rural movement; if it was then all tribes would support them.
bermal exposed your claim
no all tribes would not support them. the tribes have conflict with each other, what the taliban does is come in and broker peace with conflicting tribes in exchange for sanctuary and support to attack NATO forces which the tribes have no conflict with because they also have conflict with NATO and the afghan government. there is a mutual interest.
do you get it yet.

stop putting words in peoples mouths. So Khushal said ALL RURAL people support the Taliban -> BUT he never said that.
Now, go and proceed to change the GOAL post yet again.
so basically you're admitting that there are Pashtun tribes from rural areas that oppose the Taliban
good .....that discredits the Talibs.....finally you exposed yourself
