second thing afghanistan belongs to Afghans be it whatever ethnicity but when you talk about ditching or talking non sense such you did on your comment you will end up by having a bounty on your head running out of the country.

The Tajiks are only strong in Afghanistan because foreign intervention sides with them. I don't think pashtuns are weak in Afghanistan, I think they have been marginalized by a stronger force from outside the country not from within the country.

i suggest that the most dangerous are those who keep fanning the flames of divisiveness between tribes and muslims. you were created so you could know each other, not to fight and hate each other.

When it comes to culture and language, the biggest enemies of Pukhtoons are Pukhtoons themselves. Before these chaos started in both Afghanistan and Pakistan, how many Pukhtoons who married Tajiks/Punjabis maintained their language and culture? Tajiks/Punjabis never forced their Pukhtoon partners to ditch their language and culture, that's what many of our elders have done themselves. Proudly. This generation of Pukhtoons and the generations after us got a lot to catch up on. Whether it's 'recovery' of our language, whether of our culture.

Though, politically speaking, ever since Pakistan's existence Pukhtoons' position have been weakened dramatically. Our so-called 'unity' has just shattered, understanding for many has disappeared and moreover, when it comes to politics then Punjabis would justify their interference with Afghanistan, their dislike towards (any) Pukhtoon leader(s) and criticism of Pukhtoons on every single possible way. Politically, they see Pukhtoons as a threat, and yet want to rule over Pukhtoons.

Whereas the Tajiks, politically and historically they have always lived under Pukhtoon kingdom. Even if they saw Pukhtoons as a threat then they were also ready for a separation, they are not desperate to rule over us. Yes, currently Tajiks got some serious positions in the Afghan government, but anyone who thinks that Tajiks are more powerful in politics than Pukhtoons are out of their minds. History is a prove of how Tajik warlords have lost every single war to Pukhtoons and how every single time they fled Kabul when Pukhtoons rise to power. And once their back up a.k.a. NATO leaves, the story for Northern Alliance will be repeated. Don't get fooled by their TV stations, army position, influential culture, etcetera. If over forty NATO countries' army couldn't dim the Pukhtoons, then what on earth makes you think that a Tajikized army trained by those very same NATO can?

Anyone who has been there and has lived there for a bit knows what i'm talking (short vacations do not count). We might think Tajiks are weak because of their divisions on the surface but they are the most cohesive and united group in Afghanistan at this moment. Panjabis lack any cultural power over us and they are losing their panjabi identity too; Urdo is not a panjabi language but a language created for all muslims in the sub-continent. Tajiks thou have a much greater weapon which is their culture and they have even invaded the homes of our most ultra-nationalist Pashtuns (Ahady being one of them that speaks dari most of the time). They are in control of the media, the government and the opposition. Faim's power exceeds Karzai's power and anyone who has recently been to Kabul can clearly see Faim's power on Shahid Nader Khan's hill (Maranjaan). On top of the hill where Nader Khan's tomb is located there use to be a billboard with his picture but now Nader's picture has been replaced with Masood's on the hill which once was a symbol of Pashtun Nationalism. Certain users on this forum is misleading most of you by viewing these khourasanis or tajikists as a small group that operates in the west. Any Tajik who has influence or power today is surrounded by these people or have been converted to tajikism and they are the tajiks who control the media. Mandagar, Arman, Kabul weekly are all controlled by these tajiks and the same material that gets published in jawidan, khawaran and tajikam gets published in these papers. same can be said regarding the 20 dari-tajik TV stations and radios that has worse material on pashtuns than youtube and facebook combined.

                  to be contin.
I smell rotten fish in your posts. You are not what you really claim you are.

You talk big like if you know something. The fact that you started this topic will BS claim of hwo is Pastuwan's or Pashtoons worst enemy that fact that non of them, either Tajik or Panjabis have any Qwamyat or Malliyat-e Bia Basta. Tajikism lol since when did this Russian word became a common idealogy? Here you mentioned some western Ghali created websites jawidan, khawaran and tajikam, which most people do not believe in. Here you also claim that all of TV stations are "Dari" does not mean they have one idealogy. The fact that you claim you lived 6 years in Afghanistan and yet not knowing that Shia-Hazaras are business owners and all of factories as well as mineral and transportation are owned by Uzbeks and all building contractors who buy Pakistani material are own by relitives of Karzai and puppets of USA. Aside from all 80% of Media and communication ar owned by Ghalis ie Ismailis and unknown political and NGO parties such as Agha Khanis. After knowing of all this how did you not realized that Afghanistan is under occupation.

You are lost and this is what politics does to people, the fact that majority of us are uneducated is a fact which is why we change hands, we at most as I remember going to Afghanistan during the Taliban we looked at them like Animals as I was small I was adviced by my own relitives as well as even the Pashtuns hated them. This hate was not because we were "Kafir" or because 53% of Afghanistan does not speak Pashtu. The fact that Farsiwans, Tajikistanis as well as Uzbeks were amongst Taliban. From 1996-2000 Pakistan did a good job making this politic conflict and political civil war into ethnic conflict and ethnic civil war. Thus you are one of them "Lost" who uses ISI's idealogy to spread the hate and BS. Maybe you are not lost, but an agent, or a sick like ghalis or rather like another pro-Pakistani- hindko, or some anti-Afghan possing as "Pashtuwan/Afghan" Despite knowing that there is no such thing as Punjabi or Tajiki or Pashtooon is nothing but modern man-made ethnic terms that without any reliant of Qwamyat/Nejat/ Nasal, and relaying more on the post-western moral socialistic idealogy of dividing/uniting people based on languages.

First educate yourself on the Qwam/Race/people whom you labelled as your firends and enemies. Only then their idealogy can be defined as Childish as it may sound, ie Pashtunism, Uzbekism, Englishism, Persianism, Punjabism, Sindhism, Mahajurism, Balochism, and Tajikism.

Language cannot define any Race/Qwam/Nasal/Nejad. People over time speak the language of where they move or the language which is dominated or loved by the people. You have no knowledge of Dari its historical roots or its components.

I dont have a problem with being liberal, Islam teaches us to be liberal, people of your likes are often not even muslim. liberilsm depends on the extent which you take it. i dont act like a bollywood star and neither would i wish it on my pashtun brothers. what sort of lifestyle would you wish on pashtuns? waking up to see women in bikinis?
Islamic and Liberal does not mix well.

But would you like to wake up to seeing Pashtun women tied in black burqas and isolated in their homes?

If your raised to respect women then you would not be so weak to go crazy over a bikini.

A bikini is just a piece of clothing, but yes I agree liberalism should be moderated.

Actually if im raised to respect women then id realise naked women walking around with small peices of cloths barely covering their private parts for the entertainment of men is extremely disrespectful to women.

why do you assume that women wearing whatever they wear is just for the men. a bikini is comfortable for swimming in so you get the feel of the water against your body, manzerah. why should the men only have these pleasures?

                              @Faye

Are you oblivious to how women are sex slaves in the west? a womans body is a sales tool, you see naked women on billboards advertising tyres like whats that got to do with anything? women are not respected in the west.

In the west, women are under a constant pressure to look and dress a certain way, be it through TV, Magazines or Films, an unreal standard of ‘beauty’ has been dictated, which leads not only to women feeling inadequate, but leads men into a false sense of how a woman should be.

Society sees women as objects of desire, judged down or favoured by man’s perception and desires. men in Islam are required to be modest in their dress also, wearing tight, revealing clothes is prohibited relatively so why do you automatically assume men can have an upper hand or only have pleasures?? It seems you have some sterio typical image of Muslims regarding women, before you do so read the facts, when Islam was established, one of the first things Prophet Muhammad (saw) promoted were rights for females; to own property, to choose their spouse, to be able to divorce, to have their own business, to have equal pay, to lead all of which were seen outrageous at the time.
