because Afghanistan has become a country with whom everyone wants to be friend. There are many great opportunities yet to be kick started in Afghanistan.Pakistan exists because of the war and instability in Afghnaistan.
Than there is the durrand line agreement and how ttp is giving a tough time to pakistani establishment(dont telll em they are somehow agents of pakistani intelliegence).
Pakistan is also suffering from a great deal of moral corruption along with rampant corruption and bribes in almost all of their institutions.
They cant live up to the name "pak" and pakistanis might just become more pro Afghan in the future(pakistani people).

Aren't the presence of Quetta Shura and the arrest of Mula Biradar from karachi ample proofs of Talibans' leadership presence in Pakistan?
Quetta shura may well be a bed time story and even if it exists ,that doesnt mean it is because of the approval of authorities.

Mullah biradar is irrelevant to the story and doesnt proof anything.

    [B]

But they could not hide without Pakistani Security agencies' approval. That makes them guests of the army establishment.
    Not true

They can hide without the permision of pakistani army and intelligence in the tribal areas

You call it anything but people even pukhtuns dont care about that.
so what we are talking about is the current visit of pakistani top officials to afghanistan and its consequences on the regional politics and how it pressurize america

You are right Pakistan never likes to loose place in Afghanistan's politics and policies... there is a reason behind this.. Pakistan never wants indian interference in Afghanistan... it is too dangerous for pakistan and you know indian has penetrated too much in Afghanistan in different ways ... so this thing really annoys pakistan.
Pakistan considers Afghanistan a part of its body and considers india a cancer for the region so you can imagine how much pakistan should have concern about the Afghanistan politics
wrora the story about india is just another boogyman creation.

Pakistan has no influence about hwo Afghanistan handels its foreign policy.
just think about it,Afghanistan is just waiting for stabilisation and their most prioritised goal will be retaking Pukhtunkhwa so how can you even claim that pakistan somehow has a worry to halt indian "influence"(which i think is another bogus story for pakistan to get political recognition).

That is again some really weird view i must say.

Pakistan has nothing to consider about Afghanistan as Afghanistan doesnt consider their hold on Pukhtunkhwa as legit.

like the pakistani president said regarding Afghanistan "you cant choose your neighbours" that is one oxymoron comment form that pakistani leader.Pakistan didnt exist some 70 years ago.

Pakistan uses india card to rally the guilable pakistanis in the name of muslim hindu thing and believ eme pakistan is the cancer if you see who has done the damage to Afghanistan.

conclusion:Pakistan is losign its friendship with america so it is trying to start a better relation with Afghanistan.
India is not part of some conspiracy against pakistan be it in Afghanistan or on the border with pakistan.

I don't agree with you, Pakhtuns do care. And that is the actual reason that Pakistan is afraid of the afghan-india relations, and this is actually the root casue of the whole contention. In such a scenario the visits of DG ISI and COAS make perfect sense.

What is important to bear in mind is the Pakis are going to Afghanistan, and not the other way round.

What that means is the Pakis want something, which means they lack something, which indicates there is concern of some sort on their part.

I don't know exactly what is happening but Graveyardofempires is partially correct.

The other thing being spoken about is Pakistan's supposed anger over Afghanistan supposedly supporting Balochi guerillas in Balochistan, and wanting to stop that.

Anyway fundamentally Pakistan is weak on its whole western flank, Balochistan and FATA/Pakhtunkhwa, and is suffering a low intensity civil war in its south, in its biggest city Karachi which holds more people than the whole of FATA.

So if Pakistanis are going to Kabul because they lack something and thus have a weakness of some sort, it means Afghans conversely posess some strengths or bargaining chips.

LOL. Funny and unrealistic? How? Do you think reality is dictated by Pakistan or a few of its Pashtun affiliates only?

                  that is the exact problem
you think it revolves around pakistan while in reality it revolves around afghanistan.

no need for hollywood movies, present and history are the proofs.

Rejoining pukhtunkhwa and reuniting pukhtane is inevitable, there is nothing one can do about it.

just think about it wiht clear mind ,step out of your "pakistan ka mathlab kalima shahadath" or "we got the islamic bomb" and you will see what is the truth and waht is false.

emkhan even you will be supporting it.there isnt much choice.

i can show you thousands and i can show you millions who are waking up to their miserable reality.

Pukhtane have been brainwashed for the last 60 years to make them forget their identity and keep them devided so it will be easy to rule.

that was a british policy which pakistan adopted.
This can all happen with the youth and education ,do you know this small Afghan ruled india (including pakistan)which had maybe hunred times higher population?

What do you think what forced Pakistan(Punjab) to bring about a constitutional amendment, the 18th amendment?

Afghans/Pashtuns are the people that defeated the USSR.

It was the Taliban who took on the mighty US with its huge arsenal of weaponry and this is contributing to the decline of US power.

Pakistan is nothing compared to either the US or USSR, especially considering the following factors.

a - A lot of Pashtun tribes e.g. Mehsuds, Wazirs, Mohmands, Achakzais are on both side of the so-called "Durrand Line", and if push comes to shove, out of a sense of Pashtunwali they will do something.

b - There is a nationalist government in power in Pekhawar, the ANP which has subtly hinted at secession a few times and a "Bangladesh" scenario.

c - Pakistan cannot stop the governor of Punjab being killed or Benazir Bhutto being killed.

If the major Pashtun tribes decided to fight in unison, Pakistan would be finished, however for the time being their focus is on peace and living like normal human beings, and the welfare of their families.

However the point is Pakistan is no undefeatable giant, far from it.
