            • So ....Matthew, why are the Taliban targeting civilians, I mean you're the ones who invaded, what does the U.S. Military have as a conclusion?

and why are American troops targeting civilians at all, you did admit it happens, why?

We don't target civilians, civilians may be caught in the crossfire. Our aim is always retaliation for something done.

yeah, its got nothing to do with u being a soldier in afghanistan and defending misguided US policy....
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

It's not misguided in the least. We only attack when attacked.

u created the context for the crossfire to even take place, do u even understand this?

if the chinese invade america and americans are killed in the crossfire between the chinese and the resistance, is it not the chinese fault for even being there in the first place?

does any of this register with u?

Generally, Matt that phenomena is occuring because of our actions overseas. This is a very powerful study with a large sample sized regarding what is radicalizing the Muslim world... and let me tell you it isnt Osama.

"I think perhaps the most significant finding of our study is that across the four countries, 8 in 10 believe that the US seeks to “weaken and divide the Islamic world.”"

The other side to the poll is that these people generally did not like US government policy but RESPECTED Americans as a people.

I dont understand you at all. The guys that I lived with from UHSIS near Walter Reed were much more understanding and had a deep sense of history. We would have conversations about Afghanistan into the dead of the night and they were very thankful to understand these issues. At teh end of the day, they stated taht they were soldiers and would just keep doing what they do... but they appreciated an insight and the references.

When I met General Clarke, although I disagreed ardently with his recent piece on CNN about escalating in AFghanistan, even he commented about how as an Arkansonian he could relate to the Waziri tribesmen and Kharoti tribesmen that want to shoot at the soldiers because they feel their land is being invaded. So if he can admit this, why is it so hard for you?

so saudis have the right to attack america for occupying saudi arabia in the 90s, correct?

If you stopped supporting war on Afghans, I would say you are an ok person. But you are supporting it

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being radicalized...if/when Ghundal actually does something he'll be a target. If he can keep his sense about him then he can keep being radicalized online (I would think.)
