Hes obviously not willing to talk real sense at all. This conversation is useless. Khushaal was right. We have given him the Quran as a reference is he wants to learn about Islam (Matt I recommend the Yusuf Ali or Pikthall translations as they have the Arabic side by side) and Pashtuns (many books out there).

Matt, let me give you an example: When I get septic shock patients, these people are sick nearly to death because a bacteria is in their blood stream releasing chemicales causing them to not perfuse blood to their essential organs.

If, a patient came to me in sepsis and all I gave him was Tylenol, Id be sued for negligence and the patient would die. You gotta give the patient antibiotics!

Your efforts against "terrorism" are just that... Tylenol for the septic body. The root cause is what is discussed above in that University of Maryland literature. The bacterial cause, in this case, is the presence of our soldiers in Muslim holy land and our policies (e.g. propping up Mubarak until the near end), supporting Israel heavily without a fair balance.

That is sort of the sum total of what these guys are trying to tell you.

he is ur typical run of the mill meat head. i mean i cant say i expected much more. he probably got whatever idea of pashtuns that he had prior to joining this forum based on local afghans who work at the base and try to earn a little money. he sees that these afghans dont want to kill him so he is confident in his "mission" thinking he is doing right. he is taken aback when he sees that there are afghans who are against his "mission" and then talks the company line about terrorism and what not. the guy is a clown, plain and simple. a model soldier, actually, who is spoon fed bs and swallows it whole.

I think Faye, you can see now what motivated Mr Bin Ladin quiet clearly. Its name is Matt Dresden. This behavior is a pathological sign of a society in decay... it is evidence that Pax Americana has peaked due to the people's own misadventures. You see this same behavior in Miss Palin and others. Dr. Paul is truly the last man standing and the last hope.

9/11 was xtremely clever plot. what other plot did osama organise that had that cleverness to it? none..nada. he said he did not do it. his first interview. why would he not be bragging?

Mr. Bin Ladin put out a video subseqeuntly that told Americans that Michael Scheuer understood him the most.

I pretty much assumed the same things about Mr. Bin Ladin that most of us Americans did in the run up to 9/11 until I read Imperial Hubris Sir.

You attempting to label someone that seeks to understand the answer to that question is a sick attempt to silence dissent.

If that is your attempt, I urge you, Mr Dresden, to go **** yourself, because you put the country in danger with your low level intelligence and inability to think beyond the walls of your mind.

I'm not just against America's policy, I'm against it's hegemony, so I guess maybe I am a radical, I think America should retreat into strict isolationism.
