Why do Afghani Pashtuns hate Pakistan?

Before anyone attacks me personally id like to state that i am not a supporter of the afghan government or the paksitani one neither am i against them, i see afghanistan being a united nation with Tajiks,Uzbeks,Hazaras,Pashtuns etc...JUST AS paksitan is a united nation with Punjabis,Sindhis,Balouch,Pashtuns..

Afghans claim that some Pashtun people in KP are slaves of Punjabyaan, weras i see that as a ludicrous comment as much as saying Pashtuns in Afghanistan are slaves of the persians as sworn enemies of pashtuns such as Uzbek are allowed in the government that hate pashtuns more than punjabis do. Pashtuns have seats in the pakistan govt but if the govt of afghansitan was run by Uzbeks or other persians i doubt pashtuns wud be given any positions.

It's funny how afghans don't hate U.S for what they have done to them but instead hate everybody else possible. Afghans have sided with india over pakistan and still there are refugees in pakistan giving afghans shelter, some afghans even brought guns, drugs into pakistan but wernt kicked out, most of afghan supplies come from Pakistan, we all know that.

id like to ask the afghans here that are sworn enemies of pakistan and call for its destruction, that admit the persecution of punjabis but deny the perisan hate for pashtuns or the 25,000 innocent afghans murdered by america in just 10 years, that side with india a nation that has caused mass genocide against muslims in gujrat. some questions..

1. Why was Afghanistan last to recognize Pakistan as an independent country?


2. Why did Afghanistan provide Air bases to Indian Air force in 1971 India-Pak war?


3. Why is there heavy Indian intelligence presence in Afghanistan, even now?

(I hear that Indians don't want American presence in the region, though the want American investment in India itself, so it must use Afghanistan's shoulder hypocritically without confronting US openly)


4. Why did Afghanistan generally and strongly disagree with Pres. Musharraf's proposal of fencing the Afg-Pak border to check movement of terrorists?
(They even tried to alley the fear that common/displaced people will be restricted on either side, by providing them computer biometric ID cards. But the check post guards on the Afgh side simply tore the cards when presented, calling them non sense!)


5. What about how Pashtun nationalists try to break up Pak for a greater Pashtunistan. They tried to entice Pak Pashtuns to break away from Pak, but to no avail.


6. Pak gave 7 million Afghan Pashtuns shelter at the time of the Soviet war, & there are still Afghan Pashtuns in Pak today. What did Afghan Pashtuns do for Pashtuns East of the Durand Line in 1921 & 1948?


7. When India was 'neutral' defending the Afghans, it was Pak that protected Afghanistan from being slaughtered by the Soviets.


8. Afghanis let Najibullah (pro-Indian/Soviet) become president. Afghanistan let India support the Northern Alliance, & served as a proxy against Pak.


9. Afghanistan let India stir up proxy wars in Pak in the form of the TTP & BLA

10. They instilled a pro-Indian Pashtun (Karzai) who's the biggest drug trafficker


11. Is Pak responsible for different Pashtun tribes fighting each other in Afghanistan?

All the questions you have put up here point to your lack of maturity and lack of deeper knowledge of the issues. Typical Paki-media propagated half-truths and blatant lies. One wonders a real Pashtun can even say these things.

The claim is not without truth...Baluchis and Sindhis are saying the same i.e. Pakistan is a state meant for subsidizing the life-style of the Punjabi elite in general and common Punjabis in particular. Bangalis used to say that and they were damn right. Pashtuns are slaves because they couldn't even change the name of their province without the approval of the Punjabi rulers of Pakistan....their culture and language are being suppressed in Pakistan...and their resources are being plundered....


Today Pukhtunkhwa and the rest of the provinces are nothing more than high-profile local govts handled like colonies from "Takht-i-Lahore" as Benazir used to say....

Actually when you mix up historical events with misinformation/lies, you certainly don't end up with the "truth".

No government/system is perfect, we know that, but if you are suggesting that you believe what the state of Pakistan says about Afghanistan and the Pashtoons is true, then I would honestly call for you to research more and open up to the possibility - very difficult for some, I admit - that Pakistan is not the regional angel it tells itself that it is. And as Toromana points out, there's definitely a state agenda.

And if you can admit that the official news output may be flawed, then what is your point in this thread?

Show me in my post where did I attack you? The only thing I said was "lack of maturity" (academic maturity I precisely meant not that you are a child) and "deep knowledge of issues". If that is a personal attack, go ahead and say whatever you want to say...You are at your full liberty....

I know most of the people in Pakistan are brought up in an environment where vulgarity is valued rather thought to be a basic skill as is evident from their media. firstly i dont watch those news channels or get my information from there its general knowledge for me, refute it instead of claiming "you got that info from here or there" i cant call whatever YOU write as the truth can i, neither do i believe half of the certain afghan brainwashed people here that think pakistan is secretly plotting to blow pashtuns off the face of the earth.
