-run up and down your stairs 20 minutes a day
-run on a treadmill 20 mins
    -Eliptical for 20 mins
*You need cardio..whatever it is..make sure you sweat.

Diet you need to eat a bigger breakfast and lunch, and a smaller dinner. Eat just meat and veggies for dinner. Drop all the carbs after 2pm. So rice, bread, potatoes, pasta. That way they're burned off before bed. I also don't eat dinner past 6pm. If I am hungry at night I have one of the following snacks: any fruit or veggie, pickles are good cuz they burn fat, glass of milk or soup.

Drink A LOT of water. Get crystal light so it doesn't seem so gross.

    Sleep 8 hours a night.

Do that for about 2 weeks...you may lose more than 5 pounds.
Thanks roomie...the only problem i have is consistency...hopefully i can work on that

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Don't take shakes for proteins you'll his piss em out, best source of protein is fish, eggs minus the yolk.. But you should only take proteins when your resting, right after the exercise eat stuff with lots of carbs they are quick source of energy that your muscles need right away

exercises are different onsiderig body types, especially your metabolism and it also depends on if you wanna gain muscle mass or get ripped

One of the best ways to maintain a good shape and good health is by drinking a LOT of water. I'm not sure anyone can stress the importance and benefits of drinking a lot of water. Since water also keeps you "full," you don't get hungry as much, and so this is especially good for people with a high metabolism, like me.

Eating well is extremely important as well. In fact, you can't expect to have a healthy body if all you do is exercise and then you eat a lotta junk food and other things that destroy your body and health.

Of course, exercising is definitely important. I don't work out as much as I would like (just once a month), and I have no excuse at all to not work out at least twice a week :S Such a shame, especially considering the amazing gym at my university.

For those who don't exercise, at least walk or jog once a day. (Note to female walkers/joggers/runners/: When you exercise alone, do NOT have earphones while doing so! It prevents you from hearing what's going on around you, and then you're not able to sense if someone's coming after you to attack you.)

                I'll share more later.

                    Yes! Please do!

Numerous female joggers have been attacked this way.

If you MUST have your earphones, then at least take a friend with you; if not a friend, then a dog or another pet that can scare strangers away. Even if you have a "coward" little dog with you, it'll still keep an attacker away from you 'cause he will have to test it to know that the dog isn't scary. And he is not gonna take the risk, trust me.

I used to take my dog jogging everyday...and he was always very protective of me...i miss him *sniff sniff*

but yeah like you said, water is definitely needed......but it gets too much sometimes...i have this snapple and crystal light mix that i put in once in a while. But the point is to stay away from sodas, coffee drinks, juice, etc.

I will try to drink green tea everyday and definitely more water

I usually do jump roping it helps to tone my arms and stuff.

Do you jog outside with hijab? I feel like it would be so funny.

I have workout DVDs from Jillian Michaels (from biggest loser). I have Yoga Meltdown, 30 day shred and Fatburning metabolism.

I do one of them 20 minutes a day and I sweat more than I would doing any other workout. And I do it at home...safe in my home. I highly suggest it.

If you want to tone and have fun, nintendo WII fit is AMAZING! I was addicted to that thing for months!

Jumping rope!! Gosh, I haven't done that in FOREVERS! That's certainly another way. I love jumping rope; it's so much fun!

By the way, dancing is also very good for the health and body shape. Ever wonder why most Indian actresses and actors are so slim? Yeah! (Being slim doesn't necessarily mean healthy, though, of course.) And belly dancing?! Oh my! That's the best, especially for the tummy.
