I know a guy that did it. He actually had a LOT of success. He was a bit thick...and then ended up getting a lot of definition.

It is really good if you hit a plateau.

Well...I guess you need to tell me how old you are, and how much free time you have? Like, if you were to spend 1-2 hours a day working out, could you give me about 4 times a week?
And do you have access to a local gym?
Heyy sis thats fine, I figured you forgot lol..Hmm I'm 19 this July and Its my holidays now so a lot of free time I don't mind training whenever it can fit around with my work and chores..

You need to eat less carbs. Only have carbs in the morning. Carbs are anything bready - like pita, bagel, rice, pasta, etc. Even check the carbs in a lot of drinks...they're usually full of garbage.

                First:
Eat a big healthy breakfast, like an omelette, with whole wheat toast. Or a bagel with egg. Or cereal and banana. Don't go cheap with breakfast. Just be careful not to cook anything in oil and only have skim or 1% milk.

Snack: a protein bar is good as long as it isn't too fattening. Or a fruit - any fruit.

Lunch you should have protein (this could be chicken, fish, beans) and mix it with some veggies. I usually suggest a really good sandwich. My favourite is two pieces of whole wheat bread toasted, with lettuce, tomatoe, fat free mayo, chicken breasts (or slices), avocado, and a tiny bit of cheese. This sandwich is really filling and will give you lots of energy. Finish it off with an apple or a tea/coffee. Again, take it easy on the sugar if you put that in coffee, and opt for milk - not creme.

Dinner is where you need to relax. NO CARBS. NONE! Most Afghan mothers would not like this! lol...Have protein, like any kind of meat grilled with a big salad or if you don't like salad, broccoli, or sautee some veggies in a pan. As long as you are only eating the two together.

If you get hungry afterwards, eat any fruit or veggie. Apples, celery, pickles, cucumbers, oranges, peaches, plums - these are all good. But keep in mind that anything with sugar (even natural sugar) at night will make you wake up starving!!

If you work out that day, have a glass of milk before bed. It helps you relax, and will replenish and repair your muscles in your sleep.

As for workout, lets work on lowering your weight to what you want before building muscle. Go to the gym, and run on the treadmill. Don't do girly elipticals or bike. These are garbage. RUN RUN AND RUN! (Jump rope is nice too) Once you are sweating, then you can work out. But you have to be sweating and your heart rate has to be high. If you work out while your body isn't warm - then you are just making it more tense and very slowly adding muscle. If you want to burn fat and add muscle, you need to be HOT, sweaty and your heart needs to be racing. If you feel like its lowering between reps with the weights, run back on the treadmill for 5 minutes.

In a nutshell, use any weights you want. The gym usually has machines and explains which muscle they're working on. Keep in mind, to gain muscle, the higher the weight, and the fewer repetitions - this is what adds muscle. Push ups are good too. You can move your hands around and make them wider to work different parts of your top portion. (Check the workout I gave Angaar...you can do these). Make sure you sweat a lot. Like, panting, sweating, gross.

After your workout, sit in the sauna for 20 minutes This is nice. You will relax your muscles, sweat out impurities, and sweat out more fat.

Your goal is to eat less, eat smart (drink A LOT OF WATER since you will be sweating a lot), and work out at least 1 hour a day 5x a week. Do not take breaks between workout, it slows down your heart and you are no longer in fat-burning mode. Do not cheat!! If you're sore - go back to the gym and force yourself to workout. The pain will go away.

You'll be in shape in no time.
