separate password protected boys and girls forums

All Islamic boards have special sisters only and brothers only sections. It is because of our Islamic ethics. So we shouldn't object this.

What about brothers like this guy, who would fit more into the girls sections than ours?





Anyway, we don't want segregation. We're all grown ups here. Segregation is something we leave behind in the dark past once we become educated. Why would the "brothers" or "sisters" want a forum section for themselves anyway? What specific purpose would it serve?

i wanted this in the beginning but then i realized it's very difficult to keep track of. how is one supposed to know the gender of a new user and one if some one cheats there way in to the girl's section? suppose the girls start sharing more with each other and then...LONG STORY SHORT, IT'S NOT THAT GOOD OF AN IDEA.

I think there should be two sub sections for male and females only and the posts should be only visible to registered members of that gender.

But I don't agree that the whole forum should be split in two.

yea if u have a limit of 5000 posts that way u wud know who is a boy and who is a girl....

majority of the forums' visitors are guests... it can lead to alot of those guests signing up as girls . it will be very hard to track down. plus it is not so hard to pretend to be a girl.

But the point of Timbaktu having a limit of 5000 posts means that somebody has to pretend upto 5000 posts..thats really difficult

Yea but posting 5000 times and pretending to be a girl or a boy, is difficult, coz u get fed up after a while...well thats how i wud feel
